I use 2000dpi and sometimes i find it a little slow, i'm gonna need to upgrade when i upgrade my monitor setup. Also why did you set your mouse to 1800dpi if you find it too sensitive? The majority of people can only manage up to 1600dpi.markop2003
Well, like I said I'm completely new to PC shooters and using a mouse and keyboard. Been a console gamer my whole life. Anyway I set up my mouse is still going take some time to learn how to play with it. So I figured I would start at a high DPI and learn from there. I thought people generally play at high DPI since I seen lots of gaming mice go way above 1800 DPI.
Also, what is the difference between adjusting mouse dpi and adjusting a game's mouse sensitivity? For example, if i have my mouse at 1200 dpi and set the game's mouse sensitivity to max in game, opposed to having my mouse at 1800 dpi and set the game's mouse sensitivity in the middle. Will raising one instead of the other make the mouse smoother when turning and aiming?
