@bunchanumbers @Shadow_Fax @zpluffy Actually, neither a remastered WW nor an OOT/MM HD collection justifies buying a completely new console like WiiU. They would be great additions to have in your collection but a remastered or a re-released version of an older game cannot be enough to justify buying a new console just for that. Maybe for something to keep yourself busy for a few weeks until the new big guns come out.
Also, don't forget that milking a particular game over and over again is not the smartest move to make in the long run. I am talking about OOT. We got OOT+Master Quest with WW back in the CG days, then we got them again last year in 3DS and you are suggesting that we have them released again in HD 1 year after the 3DS versions? Nintendo is already on the verge of the being the "I am relying too much on re-releasing my older jewel games" company in the minds of many gamers. I mean, OOT is AWESOME, but I think we payed our respects to it long enough with enough releases, don't you think?
In that regard, the only other game that would be worthy of being re-released/remaster would be MM (my personal favorite). In such a case though, longing for a MM HD or WW HD release would just come down to personal preference of each gamer..
@bunchanumbers @zpluffy Ocarina AGAIN? It was released last year for the 3DS. Let us see something different. Wind Waker is the perfect Zelda to kick off our nostalgia and enjoy its ridiculously awesome graphics until the next new Zelda arrives. Few people din't take WW seriously back in the GC days and those who didn't cannot be called Zelda fans. Because Zelda fans acknowledge one of the best entries in the series...
@huy302 @jthotty While I love Starcraft and I agree on the first half of your sentence, your Mario argument is 100% fail. When Mario was defining a whole generation of games and gamers (and still is), most other franchises were not even thoughts in the minds of their creators...
