Only way it'd be "canceled" is if it was announced that HL3 was coming out.

So I just noticed after I replaced Firefox with Chrome.. Whenever I try to retrieve my lost password for my account via Steam or Battlenet, I don't get any email.

I called Blizzard yesterday, had a chat on the phone and he mentioned something about using "hotmail" is not a good idea. I however got my lost password from Blizzard. But Steam, HOWEVER... I am having problem getting a password reset from them.

So, anyone know what kind of problem I am facing here?

Welis

You're using hotmail. That is a problem. Hotmail filters a bunch of stuff. Try your spam folder.

...so is it balanced currently? I'm thinking of dropping by in August almost solely for PvP, but if it's broken, I won't bother. I played a Warlock by the way.

CaptainAhab13

It will never be balanced 1v1. Pretty much no matter how good of a lock you are, a good DK will kick your ass. If you pop FEAR, a war, DK, rogue can use their insigna or EMoH and destroy you even if they have massive dots on.

Now, Arena can be a little balance, but let's say you have a DK, Lock and druid going up against you, if they're good you're gonna have to be GREAT to do anything.

I just quit wow until the next expansion comes out. SWTOR, and GW2 are coming out soon. So I'm gonna spend my summer catching up on games.

StarCraft I- When I got rushed by zerg. II kinda gave you the abilty to recover from a zergling rush

Painkiller- Oh Gawd! Sometimes you just get bumrushed... And they just keep coming and coming, with no health in slight. You will be herding a group and get a group spawned infront of you.

Call of Duty 1-4 on the hardest mode.

Resident Evil 5- When you start out on a hard difficulty your first play through.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series- Sometimes it's just so hard, and it's hard to pull something out of your ass.

L4D 1&2- for the reason above. You don't have special powers, the enemies don't take cover and shoot from a distance.

Contra- Need I say more?

Demons Souls- Maybe the hardest game I've played since I started playing on the NES when I was 7.. Five enemies can prove to be too hard.

Many of you probably know about Origin, developer of most important RPG series Ultima and also the creator of the most revolutionary and influential RPG ever, Ultima 7. After Ultima 7. EA bought them and made them to dumb down their games which resulted in Ultima 8. But EA believed that Ultima 8 wasn't dumbed down enough, So Ultima 9 was dumbed down even more, it failed bad ( although it was a big game ) and resulted in the closure of the studio by EA and death of Ultima 4 years after the release of the game.

Now the same is happening with Bioware. I was never a fan of any of the Bioware's work, But I have to agree that their games are getting worse and worse every year. They are losing their fan base. They are not the RPG deity they used to be. ( Again , I don't think they're even RPG dogs, but I'm just talking about the general opinion. ) I'm pretty much sure old republic will flop and puts the studio in a great danger, than EA makes them to make even more dumbed down RPG's which results in low sales and critical scores. Then EA closes the studio just like Origin.

EA is the venom of gaming industry.

Sign-Number-Two

Just because YOU don't like their games doesn't mean anything. Mass Effect series kicks ass. DA is pretty good, but not my thing. Bioware has been doing the same idea for years, KOTOR, JE, ME, DA, etc etc.. It's working. Look how much excitement there is for ME3, and you're saying they're close to failing? Wow. They have more fans than ever... Losing their fanbase? lol.

EA has declared itself happy with the experiment of releasing Mass Effect 2 for the PlayStation 3 digitally and physically in shops at the same time – and sparked hope that gamers could see more games launch in the same way in the future.

Mass Effect 2 launched in January as a Blu-ray and a 12GB PSN download – on the same day.

"Sony had never done a day and day release," CEO John Riccitiello told an audience at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference (as reported by IGN). "They were very cautious about their infrastructure so it was mostly a technology test."

EA did "absolutely nothing" to market the PS3 version of BioWare's fantastic science-fiction action RPG, Riccitiello admitted, and yet the digital copy secured a double-digit per cent of total sales of Mass Effect 2 on PS3.

Sales were "meaningful", the EA boss said. "This was really more about proving it can be done than it was proving what the opportunity would be. So an unmarketed game one year after the original was done on the Xbox and the PC, we released the PS3 and managed to do very, very well with it."

While there are a number of full games available to download from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace, launching as a download and a retail title at the same time is unheard of.

Publishers don't like doing this because of the retail policies between Sony and Microsoft, Riccitiello said.

"They have got to manage both selling boxes at retail, and it's generally a pretty thin margin business.

"And so they basically negotiate and leverage shelf space on the promise of making retail margin on software."

Wow, With EA being happy with how many copies ME2 PS3 copies sold in a short time.. You're absolutely right, they're | | that far away from closing the studio. You should work in the gaming industry as a financial consult.
