the reason i want to sell it is because ds has so many cool looking ff games for it and a lot of fire emblem type games it also has a lot of those games with trading and breeding monsters the psp really has none of these i will say once i put it on ebay maybe if any of you are looking for one or know someone who is check it outklimkowskiEh, I'm not sure most of those FF games are worth the money IMO. I'd personally keep the PSP and hold on to the best/favorite games and save up money for the DS. I notcie that my gaming goes in cycles. I'll play the PSP for pretty much a month straight then don't touch it for a while. Same with the DS. But if you can afford only one, make sure you choose the one you're gonna keep after some solid research and thinking.

That line has to be the greatest irony I've seen in the past few months. The psp is much better, has better graphics, better hackeability (to play GBA and SNES games, I HATE piracy so I dont download ISOs)calotono

Im getting too frustrated nowREcrazyfanOfficial Sony batteries for PSP are made in China.

Under the XMB, push triangle to see if MagicGate is supported or not.
If it's not supported, it's fake.
Faster loading is debatable? I've got a bunch of games that prove that wrong. Slim = faster.ItsEvolutionAnd I've got a bunch of games running on Slim that'd prove that wrong too.
64MB of internal memory is nice, but when you can bump up the processor to 300mhz or higher, the extra memory's just whipped cream on pancakes. Hence the reason why Sony themselves unlocked the processor cap.
Anyhoo, overall, yes, the Slim is much better at loading times.
#s 3 through 9 are debatable. ;)1. much lighter
2. bit slimmer
3. looks better
4. better firmware upgrades e.g skype only on slim
5. faster loading
6. better d pad and buttons
7 brighter screen
8 battery life is better
9. tv out only on slim
10 it's the new one

However, the battery life on the Slim with the standard battery fares slightly worse v. the 1001 PSP did with its standard battery.
