Updated. MM, I see where you're going with that one, but I can't second it, man. I know what it takes to get mileage out of Cammy, I know the way DC plays, and I honestly see another Haterade/Sim situation arising there. The Cammy selection is definitely in the spirit of the Project, but I just don't see that going over, to be honest.

Now, I know it's easy to look at the Gouken selection and think that wouldn't take him out of his comfort zone. That's incorrect for several reasons: hit priority, rushdown defense, and comboing are just a few. We've already run some matches with his Gouken, and I can assure you he was already being forced to think of things differently in terms of offense and defense (he was using FADCs - that is NOT something DC has ever messed with before).

All things considered, though, I don't have the final say. The other guys, including MB who has yet to make any nominations, can and will break any ties. So once things play out, DC might be a Cammy player, if only for a month, after all.

Shen, just so you know, as an update to that list, you forgot to include that Kreaztion and I nominated DC for Gief.

Good stuff, guys, that's what I'm talking about. I've changed my vote on Haterade's nomination yet again, because the Fei Long thing's sounding pretty good. I spent some time with that character a while back. It would be cool to see how Haterade fares there.

Now we've just got to see what MB has to say, settle any tie-breaker issues, and we can get crackin'. Let's see if we can get at least two more people in, though. Makes for a better tournament count. If we can't, you guys wanna do a team battle with random team assignments?

Pretty sure that's it, but if I missed a couple, let me know. You'll notice that there's an x2 for the MM/Honda vote. After thinking it over, I just flat-out think that MM spending a month playing as Honda will have a make-or-break effect on him, and I like that. This will, no doubt about it, be a harder month than the Abel month was, Mete, but it'll pay off in spades if you really push yourself.

I also x2'd the Haterade/Rog vote. Fei was an interesting choice, but I'm kinda feeling the no-nonsense aspect of Rog, and I think that makes a better match for Haterade, all told. Then again, you're hearing from the guy that thought he'd love the Sim choice, so what do I know? :P

Still need to hear nominations from MM, MB, and Haterade, plus a suggestion from Kreatzion for MB.

I never liked Sakura but I guess I'll go along with that. I was actually pretty sure Shen would pick Sakura, or Cammy, for me because he knows I hate her. I tend to shy from flashy characters and rather go for big damage with less moves, hence my love for grapplers and slow characters.

To explain the Sakura pick a bit more, I just remember being left with the impression that you were a few steps above me in terms of footsies, spacing, counterpoking, and so on. Learning Sakura was the turning point for me on all those fronts, and I think that with your current skill level, you'll be a wizard with Sakura after a month of practice. She'll also make you step your combo execution up - trust me on that, lol.

Wow. I second all of these. Except Haterade's, of course, since he's not playing along. Not that he does a lot of winning with his current main... haha, just kiddin' bruh.

Guys, I was going to go in and do the whole analytical, uhhh... analysis... ism thing that I do, but DC's basically hit all the nails on the head, I think. I'm going to mull things over a bit more on MM's behalf, but it's looking like a great direction. Rufus for MB will hopefully lead to an aggressive MB. Sakura for Kreatzion is awesome, because he's into self-punishment, just like me, lol. Actually, she's a very spot-specific character who demands extremely solid fundamentals, which is perfect for Kreatzion. Anyone here who's played his Chun will know what I'm talking about. Anyway, Sakura was going to be my choice there anyway, so that works out nicely.
