Halo 1 had a much better campaign than Halo 2. There's an article out there in which even the developers said they were dissapointed in Halo 2's campaign. Halo 3 should be much better though.

Mine does the same thing.... Some games work better than others. I think you can just buy a new reader online, but you would have to find someone to install it, or try it yourself.

Halo 2 is the main one we play right now. Are those others 2 or 4 people per xbox?

No one plays system link anymore? I hear alot of people saying Unreal Championship 1 & 2 are good multiplayer so I am assuming they are good for system link. Any other suggestions??

No, 360s way better so shut up.PrivateJessard

Where in my post did I say that the original Xbox is better than the 360? I only told him that if it is not an option to get a 360 at the moment then yes, go ahead and get an Xbox because there are many great, classic games that he can still be playing. At least I gave him real advice rather than just repeatedly telling him to get a 360.

If you have the money for it get a 360. However, if not, then sure get an xbox. I really want a 360 but it's just not in the budget at the moment (though when Halo 3 comes out I will find a way :D )

I still play my xbox, and you can find a lot of great games for it still. Most of them like others said, are dirt cheap. Then, once you have the money for a 360, you can still play some of your favorites on it because many are backwards compatible for the 360. For good game ideas take a look at the recommendations thread....

I looked in the recommendations thread and could not find anything specific like this.

My friends and I play every other week over system link but it has always been Halo or Halo 2. We will continue to play those but it would be nice to have some other games to substitute in every once in a while.

Basically I need to know what some of you like to play and recommend for system link. 4-8 players on two XBOXs. We do sometime play with 3 or 4 boxes but it is pretty rare.

Thanks!!!

p.s. if there is already a thread with some really good answers to this question let me know and this can be deleted...

My friend's brother actually bought it for him online. I tried playing it and it was quite difficult to get a hang of. Didn't play it enough to get used to it though. If you really like mech game and want to get more immersed in them then I guess it is kind of fun. But way to expensive.

It was kind of funny though, we had three of us in front of this massive controller. One on weapons, one on throttle, and one steering. We never made it tto far though. :P

I do disagree... Mostly. Their whole argument was that it is more of the same. That is exactly what I wanted though. I had Mario Party 7 for the GC and I traded it towards 8. 7 had more games but 8 feels more like some of the originals to me and I like it for that. Some people say that the series has been stretched out to far and I partly agree with that. However I think this game was entirely necessary because I personally think that playing the same old Mario Party with the new controls has made it almost a new experience for me.
