Halo has Halos, spartans in power armor, space travel. All we see here are aliens attacking earth, defended by knights. You might want to brush up on your common scifi tropes before you say "aliens attacking" is "basically like halo".

There's nothing unlawful about putting easter eggs in a game, unless the egg material requires license (the reverse situation of your statement). No one playing ODST is going to be urged to buy Destiny because they glance upon a vague poster :D

For real time, that's quite an improvement. The atmosphere and effects aren't overly spectacular but any gen can do that. It's the level of detail shown in the models that current gen cannot do.

I watched the video review and he noted that it required a hard drive download/installation, that multiplayer isn't innovative (but hey, why fix what isn't broke), that spartan ops are too short to carry a sense of meaning, and some forerunner levels are repetitive (this always seems to be an issue in halo sadly).

I wish I still had a 360 so i could play this and see for myself, looks so far like 343 delivered. Though as an artist I think they drifted a bit much on the spartan suits.

You want to pay for 2+ of almost the same game? How about they deliver ONE game that is great, that has real effort put into it. If we all demand BC, MOH, and BF, they will deliver them all and we will essentially get the CoD rehash treatment (BF4 announcement shows it's already begun).
