Also forgot to mention I've had this for a little over a year now. It's not like this is happening out of the box and I have been using it a lot. And it was the best value that we found. It was a birthday gift so i picked the cheaper one.

This started happening yesterday. After turning it off for the night (As I pretty much use it the entire day because I have no life,) I tried to turn it on in the morning. It would work notmally for maybe 10 seconds then the screen would turn black and it would screech continuously until I unplugged as it wouldn't respond to either my remote or the buttons on the TV. I then proceeded to plug it back in and turn it on only for it to happen again and again until finally one time it stayed on for good. Then last night I turned it off again and this morning when I tried to turn it on the same thing happenned, but to a greater severity. I had to plug and unplug for about 20 minutes until it would work again.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it if there is a way? I mean it seems to work perfectly when it keeps going for more than a minute but it sems 75% of the time it just will fail before hitting the minute mark.

BTW I have a Dynex 1080p and I think it's 46'. Not sure tho.

Bah. I'm going to re-download it off steam. If it doesn't work after that then I am absolutely hopeless.

Ok. I found the .exe file for Kotor and set it to disable desktop composition, to run as admin, and to run on xppack3. I ran the dxsetup and it says all files are installed and ready to go. I went into the config notepad and changed fullscreen to 0. Still all it does is flash in an immediate crash. This is rediculous.

wth. That really doesn't help. I got it off steam so I didn't install it in the conventional way. I just download the game off steam and supposedly it's supposed to start.
