Its still taking too long, but I want psn to be functional for Brink...well as long as it is up before all those sweet exclusives
ShootingPwnage's forum posts
The notification for these attacks have been delayed too long. The initial attack took a week for notification from Sony. Then they stated that personal info had been compromised but credit cards might not have. Now it took two weeks to state that credit card numbers have actually been compromised...I mean, i wanna stick by Sony but they are making it harder and harder with the way they respond and handle their public relations
Besides change your password or delete your personal info lol....play Portal 2? cod? download free stuff?
Im really not sure,I guess I mostly want to play online...maybe chat with some friends
I'm undecided, the loss of all my personal data (Name, Address, Postcode, Phone No., DOB) has really p****d me off, yes you can cancel your CC and be wary of what expenditures come out of your account but in the end it is the loss of the above data that's the main problem, especially given the amount of people out there willing to use this information to defraud companies to line their own pockets.

I agree its upsetting and you just wonder if in fact your information is going to be used for something undesired. But on the other hand, this imformation is readily available to anyone who really wants it. Its unbelievable how easy it is to obtain the information....besides the chances are 1 in 77 million that your information is great jeopardy, and then the odds grow even higher by the chance that the information is entirely correct. Its more of a guessing game, and trying to verify addresses, DOB, etc. would simply benot worth it
With all these problems and concerns, will you be going back to the psn?
Personally, I believe that I will. Though this breach worries me, i did not have a credit card stored. Even if the info that you had stored in there (name, address, DOB, etc.) was obtained, it is not much different than the info that other millions of people have on display on their social networking sites i.e. facebook. I am looking forward to the exclusives coming out in the near future. Besides, everyone deserves a second chance...no?
I would like to hear some reasoning on the decisions or indecisions, for example:
1.Yes........i had fake info in there anyway, etc.
2.No.........there is no trust, etc.
3.Maybe.........what's going to be done to assure me it will not happen again, etc.

I cant say that I really mind, im currently not playing anything rigt now. I rather they do all of this now rather than later or anytime close to the release of the high end titles (uncharted, battlefield, resistance)
