*Update- Selling PSP?* Looks like Sony made the decision for me.

Well Sony is releasing Patapon 2 as a digital download only here in the U.S. market. While I'm not totally opposed to the idea, I currently have no way to download their digital games. My pc is still running Windows 2000 and is not compatible with Sony's Media Manager program. I don't own a PS3 and I don't currently have a router or access to wi-fi. I know routers aren't that expensive but I was waiting until I upgrade my pc...which is gonna be a while. I also have to see how my ISP(Time Warner) handles their proposed bandwidth caps this summer.

I think my other problem with this has to do with collecting. Again, I'm not against the idea of digital media but why not wait till the next-gen of the PSP to reveal this set-up. I don't care to have half my PSP collection in cases on the shelf and have others be digital only. Patapon is one of the few reasons I hadn't given up on the PSP and now this.

Craigslist...here I come!

So I was thinking of selling my PSP Slim, but...

So I was thinking of selling my PSP Slim because of a few reasons that I'll list.

1) I barely play the thing. Now don't get me wrong, I love games like Patapon, God of War, Locoroco and Jeanne D'Arc among others. Its just that I find myself more often than not passing by my PSP to play my DS, read a book, or do just about anything else.

2) My big hands. That's right, I'm a tall guy who has big hands, big feet and a big ego. ;) The problem is I can barely play my PSP for more than 30 minutes if I have to use the Analog stick to get around. Obviously this isn't a problem for the Locoroco games but its a problem for the rest. (I wish these companies would stop sacrificing ergonomics just to make everything smaller...but that's a rant for another day)

3) The battery life sucks on the PSP. Seriously, its horrible. I can't get more than 4-5 hours on that thing and it even drains the battery when its off. If I go two to four weeks without charging, the battery will usually die.

4) My obsession with collecting things. Why is this a problem you ask? Well money is tight right now and I'm finding that there are just too many other things I'd rather be spending money on. I want to get my car paid off. I want a new bike. I want to devote more money to my DS collection. I want to buy more books. I buy alot of TV seasons on dvd and I'm getting behind on many of them. (I barely watch tv but will buy dvd seasons and watch stuff then. weird huh?). It would just be easier to neglect my psp collection if I didn't have one anymore. :)

So here comes the "but"....

I went on craigslist and ebay tonight to see what others are getting for their systems/games. I about crapped myself! Maybe its just me but they don't seem to be selling well, nor for much money. I'm seeing game lots on there with over 10 games that are lucky if they are breaking $60.

So now I don't know what to do. I never realistically expected to get near $500 for my psp/games but I figured the lot would be well worth $300-325. (I got the 500 number by giving an average psp game price of 20 dollars and figured a mint psp slim with no scratches or dead pixels could get 100-120 easily). All of my games come with cases and manuals and all were bought new except 2 of the 19 games.

Am I wrong to think that a Mint Silver PSP Slim(2001), 1 gb mem stick, all manuals, all cases, charger with 19 games is worth $300-325?

-Here are my games-

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Daxter, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Jeanne D'Arc, Locoroco, Locoroco 2, Lumines, Lumines 2, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Monster Hunter Freedom, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Patapon, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Valhalla Knights, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and Wipeout Pure

Ugh, guess I should think on it some more. Any ideas/opinions are welcome!
