I have a ps3 and xbox 360, and a PSP Go. I only bought the 360 to play Mass Effect 1 & 2 before they came out on the ps3. Have not completed a game since on the system, its almost a year now. I actually favor my PS3 a lot because I'm a Sony guy, plus the online is free and it's good quality fun (exclusives). I, however, have yet to finish a game on the PSP go, I have 5 games on the Go, and 10 UMD games that have not even been played yet or opened (UMD's). You folks?

I watched some videos online, the game looks fun but seems repetitive or is that the fun of it? It's on sale for $14.99, I got 16 in credit left at the store.

So IGN says there are difference, quite a bit, but the PS3 version of the game looks good still. The game was running 30 FPS WITHOUT "Before the demo started, EA and DICE listed the elements that were missing from the pre-alpha build including the destruction of structures and cover, certain textures, and additional detail". Adding that they don't know if the consoles can handle the textures will 24 people are shooting it out with jets, and etc going around. Pesonally, I'm not expecting a lot out of the consoles as the lack of videos, trailers showing console only footage, PC version I know will rock. Gotta a bad pc though lol, thoughts folks?
Resistance 2 online was a blast, this seems like a step back. it is a beta, but the graphics look really bad compared to single player, R2 even looked better online.

As for your visual complaints, are you running a HD tv, menus are fine, the helghast elite...why dont you try designing some and see if we want that, I thought they looked fine, "GG had a really bad grain filter"masterds64Yeah I'm on a HDTV, the grain filter in this game is too much. Play the game and pause it and go up to the screen to see the filter, easily noticeable then. As for the Helghast Elite, they had the right idea in Killzone 2, keep them a mystery. The characters themselves are fine, it's the portrayal of nazi germany in them I noticed from a mile away. I actually would have liked to see the consul member as puppeteers of the Helghast people and the two main generals or chairman, but at a weak, helpless state. I'm not going to write it all, but I think I could have done a better job with the story and voice talent they had. The mystery, fear the helghast hold was not realized in this game, likely the last killzone for the PS3.
Killzone 2 had some pretty long loading times which was alright back when it came out to prove how good PS3 games can look. But Killzone 3 really needs an install or something, multiplayer load times near 30-50 seconds for me. Game lost of some its visual distinction from Killzone 2, GG had a really bad grain filter, the game looks better but certain visuals from Killzone 2 are also lost. Don't know why the Helghast have so much German influence from WW II, will not elaborate on due to spoilers. Will say this, the members of Helghast elite don't resemble what I've though of the Helghast. The menu's in Killzone 3 are designed very very poorly, red, white fuzzy text that's double. They still haven't really come up a wide range of weapons for the universe, added sliencers to weapons that have no effect, sliencers sound just as loud as the regular guns. They are so noticable from the other guns because they make that "pppuu, ppppuu" sound.
The system features one analong stick, margin line graphics that are barely better then the PSP. This is not diret comparsion to the Vita, the 3DS biggest cash in is the 3D which is not really fun to begin with, it's neat for a while. Though I believe the Nintendo franchises will do fine on any platform, it's 3rd party publishers I think about that will have the same fate as the Wii. A ton of shovelware software like the current DS and Wii systems. They really needed a second analog stick, this option alone would have helped 3rd party publishers push their current franchises and evolve them for the 3DS.
The bottom screen is still useless as ever, most of the items it's used as a menu, mini-map, start-item menu area. The Wii U is a good step for Nintendo, they changed up the forumla, but this handheld a baby step forward for Nintendo. Flame me, but I love Nintendo, as it was the company that brought me into gaming, but the 3DS disappointed me.
[QUOTE="SiKh22"]Their Clancy games need a new engine big time, really need to stop using the unreal engine because only Epic uses it right. Future Soldier looked so dated at E3, last two AC games look just as bad. TheEroicawha wha what?!?! the Assassins Creed games are some of the most beautiful multiplat games in existence... The care that went into the graphics to bring out the total scope of what they covered landscape wise in those games is simply incredible... Id like to see Uncharted or Gears have a game with that big of an interactive world and look that good... yes seriously. AC 1 and AC 2 look good but AC: B and Revelations do not, they look average to today's standards from 2 years ago when AC 2 came out. In AC B there are constant pop in textures, buildings a little far away, say 50 feet have no texture at all on them until you get close and they streamline. I'd say Just Cause 2 is one of the best open world looking games, it may not have the hundreds of AI bots but the terrain is highly detailed and massive.
