The beauty of PC gaming is the "complicated stuff". It's fun learning how to get a game up and running, and it will benefit your knowledge for technology in the future. It's been that way since the beginning, and has benefited a lot of today's top games designers. (IE. Cliff Bleszinski) You console gamers are stuck in your "pick up and play" routine, sitting back on your sofas gettin' chubby off of "mcdonalds" mainstream commercial gaming. (Some people are afraid to game on a PC for the fear of being labeled "nerd", in-fact.) Well, it's up to you. Sit back, learn nothing and play in the delusional mindstate of "next-gen" or sit up, learn and play for the love of technological furtherance.
This is by far the most casual/critical/commercial generation of gaming where "gamers" enjoy being ripped off by indistinguishable sequels. A generation where PC gaming is considered dead should not have been called a generation at all. It's more of a "retardation", if you ask me. This is by far the worst generation for anything, really. Music, movies, video games. Novelty died a long time ago in all fields.
It's been 4 years, and there's been no change in hardware on either system. Thus, the graphics are outdated on both. Just get a PC if you want to whore about pretty graphics. You're making yourself look stupid.
It's a shame that most PC games today are crappy console ports. We just keep getting console port after console port. Don't get me started on Games For Windows - Live. It's like Microsoft are trying to give us an Xbox 360 emulator. PC gaming will have its time once again. It just needs more... time.
