Rome is by far the best of any of the Total war games and has the best mods for it (search for Europa Barboarium sp?). Medieval 2 TW is a huge step up in graphics from Rome, and changes the mold with more units on the campaign map, and castles/cities which adds a little more strategy. I however hate Empire total war, as I think the game is wayyy to simplified compared to the earlier versions. Combat is bland and the AI is buggy, also fighting with muskets is just not as fun as using a huge phalanx to shield your spearmen that are attacking an invading elephant army!

Antec 1200 for sure! The beast is huge, amazing airflow, and its beautiful! One thing to note though is that there is only room for 2 disc drives in it.
In general, Intel/Nvidia are higher end, big money items that perform at the highest standards. Ati/AMD on the other hand are way better price for the power you get. If money is not a question then go with Intel, if your an average gamer than AMD/ATI is the way to go!
Sorry but I have to disagree with you competly. Old school games are lacking in graphics, and maybe in controls sure, but their indepthness, character development, and sheer fun can completly overrun the crap of games that are produced today. Once you can get past the aesthetic, and submerge yourself in the game, you will have a blast
Seems to me you would like Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2, or Temple of Elemental Evil. They are great old school RPG's, but much more focused on combat, and the later of the three is extremely difficult!
Just wanted to give an update on my situation. Me being so furious with sony I refused to send it in, I instead was busy with school and stopped playing the PS3 all together. Well just the other day I figured why not, i popped a blu-ray movie in and it worked. I was shocked, tried my other discs, and now it works prefectly fine again. Do NOT ever send your PS3 into sony. Im sure they have some money game going on with its customers to try and rake in more cash!
