I have a XPS laptop thats about 1 year old now but it has decent specs and I am having some system hiccups and I have no idea how to fix them. I can be playing a game thats 8 years old, or one of the most recent ones, and after a random amount of time playing the game, ill experience long sequences of extreme lag. It happens less frequent on older games, than newer ones so this leads me to believe it may be my videocard is overheating and when it gets to a critical point it shuts down? Is this a viable assumption? I just recently got a cooling pad and I am still noticing the random lag. I have a warranty on it from Dell so should I send it in if nothing else works? Thanks for your help!
All of my friends who are halo fanboys seem to think the 360 is better, only two of them would trade in their 360's for a PS3. Most everyone else who don't own a 360 or a PS3 that I know would get a PS3 first, and im guessing that is meerely because of all the great PS2 games they have played in the past. I think when consoles start dropping more, we will see the PS3 shoot up way ahead of the 360!
From my experience with EA and playing Battlefield 2, they could never fix bugs the first time, hell when they would release a patch they would break more things than they fixed. I remember one patch where they screwed up the PKM to where it was more accurate than a sniper, and it killed in 1/2 shots hahaha. Those were some good times, but it also makes me think that the people working at EA are a buncha baboons.
Ive only played time crysis at arcades, and I havn't done much reading into Time crysis 4, but uncharted is simply an amazing masterpiece. Dont let the reviews fool you, this game does it all. Sure its only 8-10 hours long, but I find myself just gazing in awe at the beautiful sceneries. There are also tons of unlockables that are sure to make you want to play through more than once, and even if you play through it a million times, its just like watching a great movie. Your goning to want to play thsi game over and over, its just so well done it is astonishing! So go with uncharted and get the best PS3 game to date!
