Ok i been trying to figure out how to explain it but i just cant.....There no explicable reason other than ALMOST everybody wants a PS3. This sounds a little bit crazy to others but its true almost everybody wants a PS3 their just not willing to shell out 600 bucks, as much as fanboys deny it. When you walk in a gaming or electronic store not owning a PS3 you know you actually want one, there an urge that come in you but you dont really unleash it lol.....I know all this sound fanboyish but i dont really intend it to sound that way i just cant figure out any other way to explain this, As soon as PS3 price goes to 400 bucks everybodies going to buy it.
