Well if you backed it up on the hard drive of the computer the ps3 should detect it when you have the ps3 restore it. When I back up my ps3 data I have it backed up on a external hard drive and it finds it every time. So I don't know, but go on your computer where you backed it up and see if you can actually find the folder the data is saved in. I think it is usually called "PS3" then some numbers or something behind it. If you find it the PS3 should find it if it put it there unless the backup data got moved. Well good luck hope you find your data.

Yeah this happened to me. I could not access my hard drive to back up my data so if you send it in for repairs you will lose all your saves and stuff. It sucked pretty bad I lost a lot of game saves, one game save I lost that I wish I could of saved was over 300 hrs of oblivion :(

Good luck to ya, hope everything works out.

Try not to turn off your ps3 manually. If it freezes up hold down the button on the fornt for a sec. If it just beeps and does not turn off, hold down the button for about 20 secs. and it should restart.

"Gouken: Successfully complete Arcade mode with Akuma (Gouki). Then, play Arcade mode with Ryu, and get at least two "Perfects" and three "Ultra Finishes" to fight Gouken after defeating Seth. Defeat Gouken to unlock him."

I got this information from cheat cc

I don't know if this will work, but open up your online browser and log in. Then log in to xbox live while your browser is still up. You could also try restarting your modem then once it is booted up log in to xbox live.

Just get a wireless adapter for your 360. That should get you connected to the internet through your wireless router.

Yeah thats what happened to my PS3 except I was on Home. I was on home then it crashed, and the PS3 turned off. So I started it back up then shortly after trying to watch an UnCharted 2 trailer it crashed again, turned off. Then later it happed again and the PS3 would not turn on anymore and it flashed yellow then flashed red. So I would advise you to backup all your PS3 saved data because this may be the first sign of serious hardware or PS3 OS failure.

coming from a ps3 and 360 owner

#2 this is simply not true. xbox live's menus and submenus are laggy and slow to load. yes the private chat is more superior, but on everything else I have to say its a close tie.

#4 this is not true. 360 and ps3 developers both have to host their own servers. psn and xlive is simply a network so that all players can access content and games that they want to play online, say COD4. You are accessing COD4 trough live or psn, but you are playing on COD4's servers. This is why you can still message and chat with you friends because you are connected to COD4 through live or psn. also if you read the fine print on some games it say they have the right to take down their servers at any time.

#5 this is not true either, but more personal. I have COD4 on both 360 and ps3 and the expereince is exactly the same, this including the game, online, and player interaction (talking crap! lol).

Well with you last comment I have to guess you have never played MGO. MGO has the best community I have ever seen this gen. (360, ps3).
