Nice, I've been struggling to find physical copies of these DS games ever since I picked up my 3DS. I just hope this collection isn't as unreasonably expensive and immune to price drops as most other games on Nintendo's Eshop.

Fairly solid game. The poor story, characters, and convoluted crafting system really bring it down several notches for me, but when you're in the thick of battle (against the big enemies at least, not so much the smaller ones) the game really shines.

It not the Vita's long awaited system selling exclusive, but it does enough to at least stand out from your typical Monster Hunter clones.

Sounds good. I'm not sure if I want to seemingly suffer through my first DA2 playthrough before this, or just jump right in. Either way, I'm only 15 hours into Wasteland 2 at the moment, so it'll be a while before I'll have time for either.

@alcoholicgamer I don't think any of us said anything of the sort.

@bdiddytampa @SillySkeleton No doubt there are. But alas, I only want one of 'em.

Ughh, there's always that one single game on the console you don't have that you just need to own. It's not enough to buy said console for, but still kills you to miss it.

@hitomo @k3ck How about the gameplay? Since you just listed an action game with all the depth of a puddle compared to one of the best spectacle combat systems ever.

Yes, I for one am very jealous that WiiU owners get to experience the sequel I was hoping for.

@oldtobie @Trev786 Letterboxing a game means less pixels to render on screen, which means better performance for less optimisation. Locking the game at 30fps (even on PC, ffs) further hints that they likely just chose a route which meant less polish would be necessary to make the game run smoothly. (according to their limitations, that is)

You'll hear all sorts of BS about the aspect ratio addidng a sense of claustrophobia, or 30fps being 'more cinematic', but it all comes down to what corners need to be cut to get the game into shape.

@hitchartstudios Biased how? Judging by the "About the author" paragraph he's a big fan of the franchise. If anything, you think he would go easy on it since he's already fond of the world and its characters.

I remember picking this up in anticipation for GTAV. Turns out I enjoyed Sleeping Dogs more.
