It's not out on my PSstore. I still have my PS1 copy anyway.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. Just pick which you want more, a stealth/action game, or an epicRPG.

Tell them it's a great BluRay player that'll allow them to watch movies in super high quality, you can use netflix, load videos/music/photos etc. on it, keep in touch with mates with it's friends list and surf the web with it's internet browser.
"It's not just a video game console, it's an entire entertainment hub! It does everything! (except play ps2 games)"

Convince them that it's more than just a game machine that'll absorb hours of your time while you're supposed to be doing homework, and they'll think of it as a more positive investment.

And tell them that all your friends have one, and you get picked on for being the odd one out.

I'm happy with sticking to my PS2 versions, but the collection is a must-have if you've never got to experience the first two games.

Uncharted 2 is easily one of the best games you could choose to play on your new HDTV. The graphics will floor you and the game ain't too shabby either. (to say the least)

Borderlands however, is full of dull wastelands and deserts. It's definately not the best way to first experience your new TV's high definition goodness. It has an interesting art style, but the game is frankly just ugly compared to UC2.

For me personally, Uncharted 2 was a much better buy. The single player is one of the best you'll experience for an action game, the co-op modes are a lot of fun, and the multiplayer is pretty well done, too.
Borderlands benefits from a longer single player mode, plus the ability to co-op with up to 3 other people through it. But considering the loot in Borderlands goes to whoever picks it up first, it can be frustrating unless you're playing with friends you can trust an communicate with.

How convenient. Mana Khemia is the one game I'd consider buying from that list and it wasn't even released in my countries PSN.
As per usual, nothing disappoints better than the weekly EU PSstore update...

There's 'Cross Edge', which even features a couple of Disgaea characters. (It's like a mash up of a few different RPG series' like Disgaea and Mana Khemia, etc.)

I was blown away after getting my PS3 and starting up MGS4 while on my SDTV. The graphics defintaly won't look 'crappy', but HD TV's just give the games that extra boost. Definately no need to deprive yourself of a PS3 while saving up for a new TV.

[QUOTE="GrandJury"]Ahhh I know what this is. It is the spin(no pun intended) on the stupid 360 joke that stated."Why do they call it the 360? Because once you see it you spin 360* and then walk away" SomeGuyInLA
If you do a 360 wouldn't you be facing the Xbox again??? :?

Perhaps the punch line should be: 'Because once you see it, you spin 360* and then walk on top of it.'?
