[QUOTE="Mondrath"]

[QUOTE="ShangTsung17"]THIS^^^ my point exactely, it serves no purpose therefore it shouldn't be there.. whens the last time u heard of someone dying from playing videogames???

ShangTsung17

If I'm not mistaken, a 25 year old died last month from deep vein thrombosis (causes a blood clot in your thigh) because he sat for too long on the chair in front of his console and didn't heed the 15 minute break advice.

holy crap! are u serious???

It was actually about four months ago. I found an article, but Gamespot won't let me post a link, if you google "Xbox addict, 20, killed by blood clot after 12-hour gaming sessions" The first link will take you there.

Just to join in the "which is better" debate. I have played and beaten Zelda Ocarina of Time three times now, twice on the Nintendo 64 and once on my 3DS. I have yet to beat Twilight Princess because I always get bored after the first couple dungeons. To be fair, I have restarted Twilight Princess several times because I get past the first dungeon, quit, and then restart a few months later so it makes sense to get bored. However even when I played past that point I stilll got bored and quit. I restarted Ocarina of Time many times when I was younger because I would get stuck on the Forest temple and restart due to boredom (I was bad at Zelda as a kid) yet I still play Ocarina of Time and have fun.

Back to the topic. I can't decide until I hear the numbers later next year. Zelda has had a solid launch, but compared to other games it's launch isn't that great. Haven't some "casual" games launched better like a Mario and Sonic game? If a game like Mario and Sonic sell better than Zelda, then why spend so much time and money on Zelda? Again, I can't make a decision until I see numbers next year.

Halo: Reach. I'm pretty good at it and just find it fun whenever I play it. Any game mode to, however if I really want to relax and just kill some time I'll just play infection.

Hey everyone, I have a bit of a different request. Anyone have any advice for durable earbuds? I have gone through four or five sets of earbuds in the last seven months. I don't care about sound quality, in fact my last set was from a "3DS starter kit". I wasn't expecting great quality in sound or durability, and didn't get durability. The sound quality was probably awful but I don't care in the slightest considering I don't really have an ear for sound quality, I just want something durable.

I don't know what a price range would look like for a set of earbuds that's durable, especially considering the sound quality doesn't matter, so I don't really know what I would be willing to pay. If anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated.

It will be a steep learning curve for you, the strategies you learned playing Call of Duty will not necessarily work in Halo. For example you can't run up and melee someone and expect a kill. You will need to learn to adjust to Halo's playstyle before you'll get good at it. I think Call of Duty has a steep learning curve because I have played a lot of Halo. Maybe try playing Swat in Halo. The health is less, and it's an instant kill for getting a headshot. This may help you prepare for playing slayer, and other types. However, the learning curve in that mode can be steeper because some people are wicked fast at getting headshots. However, it's more like Call of Duty because of the fact that you have less health.

Just a suggestion, I have Halo matches where I'm easily the best person playing, and others where I'm one of the worse. The Halo community can be very punishing for that reason. I say if you are good at Call of Duty you should be able to play Halo eventually, however learning tactics and what to do in certain situations may be hard to figure out.

[QUOTE="MushroomWig"][QUOTE="TIGERLIONX"]

I noticed this long ago but were too lazy to search about it

hello everyone, my concern is that im 100% sure that i was able to play music in the background while i'm browsing the xmb or internet, now i can't because i even have to stop the song that is playing to search for another one...this sucks

am i worng?

TIGERLIONX

Do this; Go to settings > Music Settings > Output Frequency > Select 48 kHz Problem solved. :)

(i feel so dumb)

dam thank you very much sir i didnt knew that option had to do with that

thanks again

EDIT: will i notice any difference when playing music?

It has to do with the frequency of your music. I don't know the deatails of Hzso I can't really give you more information, but if there's a big number change then you may notice a difference.

I think the better question is, how did you figure that out MushroomWig?

after playing the beta i can honestly say it is one of the funnest multiplayer games i have played, definitely not a cod clone in anyway

gta_gamer10

I wouldn't say it's the funnest for me personally, but I agree it's not a Call of Duty clone. If anything it's a Halo clone, butthat doesn't really fit either. The unique Chimeran weapons makes it more halo like, except then there's the secondary fire which makes it unique. Also the bubble shields, lightning shields etc. are things you would never see in a Call of Duty game, and while you'll see a couple similar to Halo (especially the bubble shield) there are many unique ones as well. Then there's the cool grenades like the Hedgehog. The "killstreaks" (berserks in Resistance) I find are pretty unbalanced right now, but Insomniac has time so they may fix it. They are no where near as unbalanced as Call of Duty though.

I haven't played a whole lot yet, mainly because I can never findpeople in matchmaking(anyone else experiencing this?) but when I do find more I'll let you know anything else I find.

no megaman legends 3

No asuras's wrath, ultimate capcom vs marvel and dragon's dogma buy for me

I may no longer support capcom from now on

:x CAPCOM, WHY YOU NOT MAKE MEGAMAN LEGENDS 3?

foxfacer2d2

If people want Megaman Legends 3, not buyingCapcom products is the right thing to do. Instead of just saying, "We want this game," you say "We won't buy any of your games until you release Megaman Legends 3," Makes developers take more notice. But you still need very, very large numbers to even get that to work, big enough numbers where Capcom actually notices effects in sales.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to download all of them, but is this something we should support? Most of us are currently telling Nintendo that, "We are fine with you doing ridiculous price drops, as long as you give us free stuff." I don't know if that's a message we want to convey.

DJ_Lae

I don't think it's sending that message. The only way we could really voice our displeasure (if we have any) is to refuse to buy any future Nintendo system until it gets a price drop, as all they've proved with the 3DS is that they're more than happy to do one almost immediately after a system launch. I view the games more as an apology from Nintendo, as they were obviously pressured into the price drop due to their own incompetence for marketing the 3DS (I wouldn't be surprised to see a WiiU name change at this point to help reduce confusion that the WiiU is just another version of the Wii), their first yearly loss in ages, and dropping stock prices.

That's a really good point, I think I agree with you.

My sister said that she will buy a 3DS the day Nintendo releases a purple 3DS, so their sales would increase by at least one if they release a purple one.
