Well I recently downloaded the Skate Demo and I got to say it is a fresh breath of air.

At first the control system seemed impossible to get but after playing for a long time I got it down. Skate is a good game and I will be getting it for X-mas but I don't feel as excited while playing it as I do in Tony Hawk and the game can be boring too.

I may just be bored of the certain level and i cant wait to get to skate in the real cities and go to the X games.You got to time your ollies every single time you want to grind get a platform and everything.

You hold the right stick down and then push it up at the perfect time to grind and do all the other stuff. Which can be annoying and too realistic for it's own good.

Also, I thought this game was supposed to be realistic, so what's up with the bails (Tony Hawks look way better) with blood and everything. In skate it looks so messed up and fake, no one would bail like that. Unless you can't feel your bones. I know Project 8 and a little of Proving ground have those stupid ragdoll bails.

But, they are way more realistic then those. I don't like any of the music choice at all. Me and my friend actually laughed at the game for this one song.

Therefore, skate is new but it is a bit too real for it's own good. And I now own in it! I also love it.

The story follows the epic role of Krato's. The game takes place right where the first left off, Kratos getting his revenge on Ares and becoming the king. He commands the spartan army which is taking over city after city.But, kartos suddenly finds himself with the Olympians, betrayed by Athena and killed by Zeus. Kratos soon gets rescued by Gaia who tells him that he can changed his fate if he makes his way to the sister's of fate which is where the game starts.

God of War 2 is very much like the original in gameplay but with new features and way's of playing. The game stays true to the whole greek feel involving famous Greek legends like Zeus and Icarus. It's nice to see the developers stay true to the legends and did there studying.

The whole combat system is the same. Krato's still has his blades and is always killing. The game has more gore than the original which is awesome for people who don't have easy stomach's. There's still the button mashing and the button icons to click on screen to kill enemies and bosses.

Speaking of bosses, there are way more in this game than the original which had 3 bosses. These boss fights are good but not as memorable as the originals. Some bosses are Zeus, Sister's of Fate, Icarus, etc.

The game paces it's self almost perfect and is just amazing how they do this. The level design has improved greatly. The puzzle's are top-notch being not two hard but get's you thinking. The puzzles are mostly like the original's mostly pulling levers.

You do get new weapons and magic abilities in the game. The new earthquake magic (Which you hit the ground and hit huge rocks everywhere) works very well and makes fights way more easier. The new hammer is also very nice to use, slow but does alot of damage. There's also a stick with sharp points on each end in which you can keep stabbing your enemies with which is a nice weapon.

You also get a bow and arrow type magic power which helps alot during fight's and killing your enemies.

You can also ride big bird like creatures and travel to the next part in the game, while doing this enemies will come trying to kill you so that's a nice new feature in the game. The game uses the blades alot more to get where you want to go. Now you can swing from certain things to get to platforms which are way to far away to jump too. You also have the Icarus wings to you can glide across to farther platform's kinda like in the Ratchet and Clank series with Clank's helicopter thing. There are many different types of enemies for you to kill.

The graphics are much like the original but a bit better. They are still breathtaking and one of the PS2's best looking games. The characters and levels are amazingly designed. The animation of the characters is top noth. the graphics are amazing.

The sound is amazing. There's the same amazing voice acting in the game as the original and killing your enemies never sounder so good. The music is amazing and has a beautiful score.

Overall, God of War 2 is a amazing sequel and just what you wanted in one. Any gamer would love this amazing game unless you can't take all the gore. God of War 2 improves over the original and makes a amazing game almost even more better.

Yes i beat God of War 2 a couple days ago. I just love these games. Amazing games, well done on everything. I've gotten really good at button mashing. God of War 2 wasn't as good as one but a hair away, awesome game.

Well not much else has been going on. I went back to school and I don't like it. I also plan on picking up Robot Chicken Season 2 on Tuesday. I got more Simpsons stuff and everything was put onto shelves which was on the bed. I'm also happy now because The Simpsons Movie come out December 18th, the same month as Season 11.

Awesome.

Today I downloaded the Dirt demo and a couple days ago the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 demo of The Playstation Network. Here's my impressions.

This game turned out way better than i suspected. I just loved the demo. It reminded me of Splinter Cell alittle and Gears of War since you quietly kill your enemies and you hide behind things and pop up to shoot at your enemies. This is going on my PS3 games to buy list. I'll probably end up getting it after or during Christmas this year. I might not but i probably will since this game was fun.

Dirt Demo Impressions

While playing this game i was thinking meh. The game is a good racing game but Motorstorm blows this game out of the water. Motorstorm gets you pumped and has way better destruction and racing. This will be a miss by far. I didn't really enjoy it and I kinda got bored quick. As i said before Motorstorm blows this game out of the water and soon the Motorstorm rip-off Rage by Id (Which is looking awesome) are way better and more fun games. With Rage coming this game doesn't look to be that great.

I took a little break from Gamespot for about a week, I had nothing to talk about so here's what has happened since then. I have mostly been hanging out with friends.

I also downloaded the Ghost recon advanced warfighter demo on the PSN. The game is much better then a suspected, i had a real good time playing it. I am getting Assassin's Creed when it's released. I am getting Guitar Hero 3 from my parents when released. But i can't chose between these 4 games to get, i can only get 1 more...

Doh! I also got 6 more Burger King toys, one more week and i got them all!

I have been playing alot of Project 8 on PS3 because i am really hyping Proving Ground (That may be the game to get if good reviews). I also have been playing Motorstorm alot, i beat alot of races in it.

I am also getting SIMPSONS SEASON 10 On Friday because i get a deal on it then. I hate the head sets by the way, they look bad to me. They released season 1 - 5 in these awesome boxes then they come out with these crappy plastic heads. I had to order the regular box from fox with Season 6. When season 7 fox realized we screwed up let's release both boxes.

I can't wait to get this DVD! Bye!

Wow, well this was unexpected. Reuters news service is reporting that GTA IV has been delayed until the second quarter of 2008 in order to polish up the title. After this announcement, Take-Two shares dropped fairly sharply as the market reacted to the significance of the news. Because GTA IV won't be coming out this year, Take-Two had to change their financial goals from a profit to a loss for this year -- never something investors like.

Hey, Atleast they want to polish it! But this still is bad. It now comes out in April of 2008 At the latest!

There's no words to describe how awesome The Simpsons Movie was. I waited years for this and it lived up to thehype.

The movie was hilarious and at the same time teaches you a lesson. The writing of the movie was amazingly well done. I saw the movie at 12:00. I was the third person in line out of a huge one. I'm going to tell you a little about the plot of the movie so Minor Spoilers (Just telling you the plot).

So, everyone is dumping into lake Springfield and Lisa takes care of it by making a meeting, she soon gets Mayor Quimby outlaw dumping in the lake but Marge tells homer to dispose of Ploper's (Spider-Pig) "Crap", as homer going to the place to do that Lenny calls homer and tells him Lard Lad is giving away free doughnuts.

Homer quickly goes to lake Springfield and disposes of Ploper's "Crap" and it make the lake almost toxic. The EPA finds out about this and puts a dome around Springfield and Homer put his name on the poo container so the town finds out it's homer, soon the town goes after homer.

They make a escape from the dome from a sink hole and move to Alaska. While watching TV they find out they are going to blow up Springfield and The family wants to go save Springfield, but homer becomes selfish and says he wants to stay in Alaska, while Homer's at the bar, the kids and Marge go back to Alaska.

Homer soon realizes his mistake and he should care about other people. he goes back to Springfield and saves the town and Bart and homer destroy the bomb that was going to be used to blow up Springfield. Everyone soon praises Homer and Bart and Homer and Marge make-up and kiss. End of Spoilers (If There are any)

The movie was pure awesome, the constant stuff was funny. I liked how it teached you a lesson (Family Guy doesn't, ha?) The movie lived up to all they hype. But don't take any kids 10 and under to see this, they do show bart's "doodle" As bart calls it, and they do show Marge and Homer doing "Stuff". But it was nice they used the term movie and made it better than the show itself.

The movies a hour and a half about, shorter than alot of movies, but if it went longer it would feel dragged on, it ended at the perfect time. This movie was amazing you should all go see it! The movie ws outstanding. The voice acting of the characters was amazing.

They open the movie with the original opening of the show but Dr. Frink says Movie and they zoom into places like the Kwik-Mart and other places. I loved this movie, it was amazing!

A character also dies "Hi everybody". I said Hello everyone before, i can't belive i did that!

It Was Awesome!!! Best Movie Ever!!!

When you play a First Person Shooter, you'll usually expecting the same thing. But, once you pick up "The Darkness", you'll be happy to see something new.

"The Darkness" is by Starbreeze who brought The Chronicles of Riddick to the Xbox. So, you were probably expecting something good, and oh yes it's good.

You are Jackie Estecado, a guy involved in the Mafia ran by his Uncle Paulie. Jackie's uncle Paulie decides to attempt to kill Jackie on his 21st birthday. Paulie fails and Jackie soon goes for revenge on his Uncle Paulie. But, soon "The Darkness" breaks out of you, and makes you more powerful than ever before. The Darkness is these two snake-like dark black tentacles that are attached to Jackie's back. The Darkness gives Jackie 4 awesome powers.

The first power is when the Darkness can detach from Jackie's body and slither up walls, on the ground, anywhere, while doing this you can basically stealth kill your enemies. They can't do nothing one the Darkness bites them.

Another cool thing is you can eat your enemies hearts out, which will level up your darkness powers. Then there come the demon arm which you can stab into enemies and pick things up with, usually causing instant death.

The next Darkness power is the darkness guns. These guns are very powerful aswell. To use these you need to feed the Darkness with the Dark. This recharges The Darkness. You will need to do this alot. Most of the game consists of shooting out lights or stabbing out lights with the Demon Arm. But, if The Darkness are in the light to long they will go back in you and not come out for awhile.

The final Darkness power and the best is the Black hole. Which sucks your enemies into a black hole. Which instantly causes death. You can also use this to move stuff out of your way.

The game plays like any FPS but you do have weapons in both hands. The aiming is odd. The aiming makes the game a bit to easy, the marker usually just locks on to enemies heads right away. But, the aiming can be bad at some times. It's hard to shoot enemies from far away. The best thing you can so is zoom in a notch which doesn't help all that much.

"The Darkness" has a very good story. Probably the best in a FPS since Half Life 2. The voice acting is just brilliant. You see Jackie talking about the struggle with The Darkness inside of him while the game loads which is the best load time ever. The guy who plays "The Darkness" themselves does it awesome. The Darkness is usually mocking Jackie and his life.

The game is a bit short clocking in at 8 hours. It can also get boring wondering around streets or the subway to find where to go. Finding where to go is really annoying at times. Also you are in the subway alot. That's where you find out what to do and go to the streets.

Between leaving the subway you hear Jackie telling you his story which can get annoying. But is still better than a boring blank loading time. The AI are pretty good, they are pretty hard to kill and try to take cover and kill you.

The game looks very good, not the best but still wha you expect from a PS3 game. The characters animations and movements are really good. The environment looks impressive. All of the different settings look great aswell. The game looks pretty impressive overall. The game is short and after you beat it you are expecting awesome online play to fall back on then you are screwed. The online play in the game is very laggy and makes it almost unplayable. They shouldn't have even included this in the game.

So this game is a must have if your a fan of the First Person Genre. Offering amazing gameplay and something new to the genre itself. The Darkness is a must-have game for gamers.

It's 1am and I don't know what to do, so i'll type up a awesome blog. So, I bought some stuff and ordered some stuff. So, let's get going.

Stuff I Bought!

I bought this CD. It's System of a Down's first CD, so now i got them all. I got this CD for 5 dollars which is an awesome deal. The Songs "Sugar" and "P.L.U.C.K." The band sounds amazing. I bought this with my store credit from my earlier trade-in's.

I ordered The Oblongs: The Entire Series. This show was awesome and i loved it, only saw 3 episodes of it though and it deserves to be in my collection. Also, if you didn't notice, I collect DVD show seasons and have 50. All Animation except for Viva La Bam and jackass. This DVD will be a good addiction.

Also, i will be getting Simpsons: Season 10, Robot Chicken Season 2, Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Colon, Family Guy: Volume 5 (Which is TBA in 2007, crap that was a different country).

Game Time

I will be getting Grand Theft Auto 4 and Assassins Creed and maybe one of the other games in my last blog, but i will get all the rest for Christmas.

Movies I Saw: (Harry Potter 5, Fantastic 4.)

I saw 2 movies. The first one was Harry Potter 5. Here's my review on it. I saw the first 3 Potter films because of friends and again a friend took me to see the 5th one and i lost interest in the movies was never a big fan but it was a decent movie with a cool fight. But, no action, it was all talking. I was bored of it after awhile but it was still good.

Next one, Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer. The movie was pretty cool. Pretty good special effects but not as great as Spider-Man. But the movie was good, was pretty interesting, didn't get boring. But, the one thing that was Hideous was the jokes. These jokes had to be made by 4 year olds. Worst and most corny jokes ever in a movie. But the movie was cool.
