For the second time in my life I went to a Rolling Stones concert . And I have to tell you it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen . The first Stones show I saw back in 1996 in Boston , at the time I was not what you would call a Rolling Stones fan at all . But after seeing them live I was blown away . So for the last 9 years I have been a gigantic Stones fan . I truly believe that anyone who sees them live will be converted just like me . You can forget all the joke about how old they are cuz when they are on stage ( honest to god ) they are 18 again .
So me and my best friend Mark went to Moncton N.B. to see them this summer along with 87 thousand other people . Other acts included Our Lady Peace , Maroon 5 and The Tragically Hip . These bands all rocked but when the Stones hit the stage the place when bananas . What a great time . Spending a whole day with your Bro drinking beer in the sun and listening to great music with 87 thousand other lunatics only to be capped off that night by seeing the worlds greatest rock band .
Anybody who has never seen the Stones or listened to there music I highly recommend going to see them live . I guarantee you will be blown away .

GoldenEye : Rogue Agent Endgame
by Sinshadow on Comments
I finally did it , I beat GoldenEye : Rogue Agent !! It took a long time but I am victorious . Its not that this game is the hardest in the world it just has a really hard ending . The bad guys defending Goldfinger's volcano lair have OMEN rifles which boast one shot kills . Add to this the fact that you are not the most fleet footed of secret agents and you have a very frustrating endgame . This game gets trashed by a lot of people but I really enjoyed playing the villain in the James Bond universe . The storyline is great especially for any 007 fans such as myself . Along the way you either team up with or fight against most of the major Bond villains as you battle your way through a SPECTOR civil war . As GoldenEye ( an MI6 operative fired for his brutal methods ) you will employ a pretty impressive arsenal of weaponry while liberating several classic Bond headquarters from Dr. No's henchmen . Not to mention the optical weapons given to you by Francisco Scaramanga . ( The Man With the Golden Gun )
I also finished Knights of the Old Republic 2 this weekend . I followed the Dark path and became Sith but I wasn't thrilled with the ending , maybe the Light side has a more favorable ending . This isn't a great game but it has it's moments and the storyline is pretty awesome . In fact thats the main reason I stuck with it , to see the story through . The other reason being leveling up General Spacelord to become the most powerful Sith in the Universe Muhahaha !!
So that was a pretty good weekend in all . Went out with Ernesto on Friday night and partied with some chicks until 4 in the morning and beat two games . That rounds out a pretty full week for me !!
Evil on the Rise

HA HA I love being Evil in the Knights of the Old Republic games . Not only are the dark force powers way more useful ( and not to mention all around cooler ) buts its fun collecting dark side points by generally being a first class bastard to every on you meet . One of my favorite moments was when I literally told a couple of gangsters to jump off a cliff ( insert evil laughter here ) with the Jedi mind trick . To quote Metalica "Am I Evil ? .... Yes I am ! "
Knights of the Old Republic 2

I spent most of yesturday playing Knights of The Old Republic : The Sith Lords , and the Constantine Demo . I realt enjoy the storyline of KOTOR 2 even if it means backtracking all over the place , witch is made worse by the load times . Oh well its still a great game . You have to love the Dark Side powers and becoming evil HAHAHA !! I also didn't mind the Constantine demo , I am not into the 3rd person shooters but this one seemed ok . Its better than the Punisher anyway .
I have also been reading The Man With the Golden Gun , I love the old Ian Flemming James Bond books .

Mech insult 2
by Sinshadow on Comments
After beating Republic Commando the other night I was trying to decide what game I should hit next . And even though I was hugely disappointed with this game I decided to give it an other try . Its not that this game is horrible its just nat as good as the first .
Actually when I first played the first Mechassult I thought I was going to hate it . The main reason for this was I thought Microsoft really dropped the ball not giving you a cockpit view like in the PC games . For me a cockpit HUD helps "put me in the mech" like in a FPS . I found that the third person view made the game more arcade like and less enjoyable for me . I guess what I really want is a Mech sim .
Despite my disappointment with the third person action , I found that after a bit I really got into it . This was mainly due to the very cool story line and the subsequent missions . I also loved some of the mission locations , like the arctic base with the orbital guns . Maybe it reminded me of Hoth . When I was finished with Mechassult I considered it a great game and still do .
Unfortunately Mechassult 2 does not seem to have that engaging storyline to go with it . The story seems kind of stale , like a bad B movie .
Regardless of its short comings I have to give it another chance ( if only to get my money's worth out of it ) and try to beat it . To that end I beat to more stages last night . Here's hoping it surprises me .
