I have a acer travelmate 2424 for office use and it runs age 3 & Warchiefs. All your laptop needs is about 512 ram & a onboard accel it won't run it well but it will run.
If you have a awesome rig you have to play Obilvion with the setting at full past it looks awesome .Probaly one of the best visual looking games out there.
I played it with a set of headphones on the sound freaked me out .I know there are certain sounds that can cause anxiety in people they must have used it in the game.
Also Amla freaked me out as the little girl.When i was playing the game my niece slept over that night and at 3am she woke up needing to pee in the dark she looked a lot like amla .
For me it was my Computer teacher at school the first game he ever gave me was Duke Nukem on stiffy disk.We would sit in a row in the computer lab playing nothing but duke & when you get to the end of the level before you pass thru the doorway to the next level you would yell out Disk so you could load up the next level.
Then i went thru a stage were I went console but found my way back to Pc gaming thru our Company I.T guy.
There are a few i can recommend but for someone starting out I would recommend A game called Rogue Trooper . It has everything a good first person shooter needs without all the confusing extras .You shoot the bad guys till their dead & keep moving thru the levels and thats it & the story lines are okay.
Every that has access to a email address or the web has gotten .Every has friend who addicted to porn and either send you butt naked pics of hot woman or pics of a oversized wringle crack. I if you don't have a friend like that you are probaly the friend. Now lets talk about games.
