It's hard to make out any detail on those images, but the text above them help:

As expected, the HUD is minimal, and the only thing that's permanently visible is the radar. The radar is surrounded by two semi-circles representing health and armour. Everything on the radar is translucent except for the roads. Things like weapons and wanted stars only appear when you are changing weapons or when you obtain a wanted level, we presume.

Since most of the HUD is hidden most of the time it would have been nice to have had a screenshot showing the HUD in action, either firing weapons, showing wanted levels, or the radar showing any points of interest on it, like the location of safe houses, gun shops, restaurants etc.

Yeah that is true. But I am guessing that because we just got to see a picture of the HUD soon enough we will get to see a picture of the HUD in action. My estimation is about 2 to 3 weeks or maybe less don't know.
