@Razer361 @r1g0 @shadowchronicle I call it: Fanboys, I really liked Nintendo consoles, but once they failed to appeal to me, I lost interest. More games on PC and other consoles for me.

Peace

@Zabc0 You can't really address the fact that selling more is going to mean success, it might to someone who has no knowledge of economics, but you must also take into account the earnings, software sales, online sales, I know at least 20-30 people who have a PS3 or/and an xbox 360, and all of them have over 8 games, many have more than 20 games, they are constantly playing, downloading games of PSN and Xbox Live, paying for Live, whereas the few people I know who still have a Wii maybe have 3 or 4 games, tops.

If the Wii really was such a great economical success, then why is Nintendo pushing out a new console, when not even the 360 which came a year before the Wii has a successor, why not enjoy the fruits of such an astronomical success ? Because although it was a much better venture than the Gamecube and the N64 brute sale numbers don't tell the whole story

@Celsius765 @SSJ4CHRIS So that in 2 years time the same thing that happened to the Wii's gonna happen to the U, 3rd party will stop making multi plats for the system cause they will be working on PS4 and 720, since those two will undeniably be on par, thus leaving the WiiU with more mediocre ports, and more, yeah you guessed it! Mario! Nintendo should've pumped out an awesome FUTURE PROOF system that while it was still different from a traditional console, it had the horsepower to stay important to developers. Stick a 7970 into the WiiU for Christ Sakes

@rarson I really don't see why you have to defend the Wii U, I mean unless Nintendo is paying you to do it, you're being a fanboy man, open your eyes, there is more and better things than Nintendo.

On another note I really do hope the WiiU is a total failure so that Nintendo stops making rubbish consoles, and goes 3rd party like Sega, so we can enjoy their franchises on good systems, heck they could even end up on Steam! that would be awesome. Let's face it, Nintendo hasn't been important to gaming for a long time, the only thing they have done is channel the casual market, corrupting things with their gimmicks and tacky games. and when was the last time they came up with a fresh awesome IP? Pikmin?

And to the fanboys that'll say well don't read the new concerning Nintendo, newsflash! it's the internet I do what I please.

Peace

When you die, your character dies and so you have to restart the whole game, lol, no but maybe making a campagin where if your partners died, it would affect the story, and it would be harder since there would be less friendlies. The problem with difficulty nowadyas uis that it's either too easy and it's a kind of interactive movie or it's hard in the bad way, where enemies always have your head in their sights, you have to shoot them with 100 bullets to kill them, etc. It may sound really monotonous but devs who want to make hard rewarding games really have to play and take cues from Dark/Demon's souls

Just hope that there are more variety of games next gen, and that they also focus on other important points of videogames like the story, the game play mechanics, the characters, etc. I really hope there are more games like Demon's and Dark Souls, that even though thy are hard, since the game makes you become better at it, you truly enjoy and feel accomplished when you beat terrible foes. Imagine a game like dark souls running on the UE4 and with a story comparable to the best of the MGS or any JRPG of old. That would be something

The big mistake for Nintendo was pushing the Wii so far deep into casual territory, because they forgot that as casuals, few will upgrade their gaming console after 5 years of use. As for many old school fans, I have yet to meet someone in real life that sounds excited for the WiiU, everybody is like, I'll really wait like a year to see if they pump out quality games or just crapware like the Wii. I really loved Nintendo but after the Wii I have withdrawn my unwavering support for them, they really forgot their old supporters and seemed pretty happy with the new owner's of Nintendo consoles, middle aged moms, grannies, and such. Not to wish them bad luck or anything, but let's face it, they have to win over more than one old school fan.

" but iOS gaming has captured the hearts and minds of many--the younger generation!" I fear fo the future of gaming if kids prefer shitty IOS games over console games, my little brother i trained him the old school way, when he started gaming around 204 I would only let him play SNES or N64 even though I had the PS2 and the gamecube, until he beat the games we had for the older consoles did I let him play the newer ones, nowadays we both laugh when we read about "hard" games, cause he also knows how back in the day games were actually hard. Sure there are some awesome games, and some that are also challenging, I still think Dark Souls is one fo the best games to grace this generation, but most games hold your hand all the way through the game Gotta stay hardcore and never forget the old school. Peace

@yoyou225 first off I don't think there's any need for you to call names, frankly when you start calling people things is when your arguments are pretty weak, second I'd like to add that most games that have amazing graphics on the PC are also great games, have you played them? because if you haven't then you can't really argue right? I have a 360, a PS3 and a gaming PC, I sold my wii about a year after I got, the reason was that none of the games were exciting or enticing for me, so why have a console that has no games that you like, and I must point out that before the Wii I had had all the nintendo consoles, but thw wii didn't cut it, mind you since the gamecube I had started to tinker with xbox and PS2, and of course game design, story, great game mechanics are key to a good game, but they also rely on more powerful gaming machines, programmer and game devs have already said that for better AI, and better game worlds they need something as powerful as a modern day gaming PC, which frankly the 360 and the ps3 can't compare to, so before you start calling names on the internet, play the games, generate your own criteria and justify your opinion without being disrespectful. good day

I find it funny when people say graphics still look good on consoles, lol surely they haven't played BF3 on Ultra or The witcher 2, and the problem is, consoles are now holding gaming back, look at all the crappy ports, and compare them to the few PC exclusives or games programmed for PC and then ported to consoles, they are so far behind it's ludicrous, I mean BF3 on PC on low looks better than on consoles, AND you have the chance to play 64 players, new gen has to come soon!
