Depends heavily on genre, FPS' and wrpgs sell more on the x360 while jrpgs, racing and platform games sell more on the PS3. Sports game depend on the sport, with games like NFL selling better on x360 since it dominates the USA market and games like FIFA selling better on the PS3 since it dominates the European and Japanese markets.

oh god damn, that's the best game i've ever never really played.
Counter Strike.
For consoles, KZ2, no contest. Lack of auto aim and feeling of weight make it very hard for a begginer to get something done and creates a huge skill progress line. The differences in effectiveness between a pro and a newb are enormous in KZ2 while in most console shooters its a smaller gap.
Like America's pre-orders matter. Its the only region where x360 has outsold PS3, and has a market dominated by mindless FPS'. GT5 will dominate Europe by far, and will outsell anything on x360 by 10 times in Japan. Not speculation, just fact. Fifa 11 will still outsell everything else in Europe tho.
My guess is it will be a brawl between GT5, SC2, LBP2, GOW3 and H:R, with my guess going to either GT5 or SC2. Right now SC2 is my GOTY, but some of the games I listed are still unreleased and might impress me.
Why exactly does Castlevania win in sound with no questions there? God of War has one of the best, if not the most epic score ever. The soundtrack is legendary, and the quality is massive (sound alone wouldn't even fit in an x360 dvd :])
And really, GoW is an experience, its challenging, beautiful and extremelly rewarding, and there's no game like it.
