Both Oblivion and Rainbow Six: Vagas look better on the PC then on the Consoles....

along with everythig else since PC's can go 16x AA 16x AF and over native 1080p for every game.

How many people can run 16x AA 16x AF first of all? Secondly How many games on the PC look better than Gears of War right now? Because I cant think of one.

I can think of one - Armed Assault. It looks rubbish until you get into the high settings, at max settings you can see for miles, the grass is the nicest I have ever seen, the textures are huge and beautiful, the models are awesomely sexy. The HDR is incredible, and the depth of field all make it look better than Gears of War.

Another is Call of Juarez, INCREDIBLE looking game, ray-tracing, the LOT. And still some pretty damn big environments.

Oblivion maxxed out with all the graphics mods installed looks better also. Meideval2:TW also "WOWs" me more than GeOW does.

Ooh that's true, how did I forget about those?

That game existed for the Dreamcast, I actually really liked it, no idea if it was related to the anime or not though, I never got round to watching the anime.

Xbox360: $550 Games: $70-$80

PS3: $840 Games: $70-$90

PC: $1000 Games: $30-$40

With only 10 games a gaming PC comes at equal price of Xbox360...

The days of $300 PS2 and $50 games have passed...with no return...

Nice point, only problem being that PC hardware is as expensive as sin here too, moreso than the US counterparts. 

I have a 7800GT and a comparable Processor, I can't run it well on max.

I call bull.

Pokemon Red/Blue sold over 30 million worldwide.

 Halo 2 sold 8 million worldwide.

 The new pokemon has sold 5 million in japan alone.

Jesus people, of COURSE the 2900 is going to run better than the 8800, it took another year or so to come out, nVidia and Ati aren't on equal footing at the moment thanks to nVidia entering DX10 earlier. I imagine the 8900, or whatever the new Ati card is going to be, will outperform the 2900.

also, the 8800 is going to be a GREAT deal cheaper than the 2900.
