While I highly doubt it'll happen, it would be awesome if golf ended up with downloadable content. Being able to download another 9 holes course every 2-3 months would be cool.

THIS is exactly what worries me about DLC in general... All the VC games and WiiWare (XBLA, PSN)... are they going to transfer up to the next console? Are they going to be tied to an account so you can play them again after your Wii dies? This is one huge reason I think Digital Distribution is not in the customers best interests... you no longer have a hard copy of anything and are at complete mercy that the next gen support a way for you to play what you rightfully paid for...raahsnavj
They are tied to an account if your Wii dies. I don't know what's involved, but it probably doesn't take more than a phone call. Also, I think it's funny that you feel this is a digital distribution issue, "[you] are at complete mercy that the next gen support a way for you to play what you rightfully paid for." You are not, you can still play those games on your Wii. And if you're looking at what the next gen supports, you are at the mercy of the company even for games you own physical copy of based on how well they support backwards compatibility. Really, other than this gen there's never been backwards compatibility. And, Sony and Microsoft still don't even have 100% backwards compatibility. Digital distribution, technically, should make it easier to support backwards compatibility. For stuff like the VC it's just updating the emulator to work with the new console. You link your new console up to your account and download everything again.

Nintendo has stated that the next zelda will be more casual to appeal to a broader audience. Nintendo has taken our last hardcore hope, and turned it casual. Im concerned that the next zelda will bevery short, with simple puzzles, easy boss battles, and will tell you where to go next.

BigMacEater343

Zelda is simple puzzles. The water level in OOT (I think it was OOT), is the only time a Zelda game has had a "difficult puzzle". But, it was mostly a difficult puzzle due to poor level design. Zelda's boss battles have also always been easy. Sure, they've gotten a bit easier; but about the only thing that's become a standard is you use the item you found in the level to defeat them. And Zelda has been telling you where to go next since ALttP. Pull up the map and it'll show you exactly where you need to go to next. With the exception of the original Zelda (we're not even going to point you to level 1) and Zelda II (we're going Ghost & Ghouls level of cheap **** that can kill you), the series has been very casual friendly.

But I think people are missing the mar again. It's rated M for Mature but look at a lot of game sites, they love how we finally have a game for Wii that's filled with mature blood and gore. Not only does that show how well cultured they are it shows how immature this industry is.

ChamomileBaths
The critics love that we have a fun game. It's a blast to play. Finding new and bloodier ways to dispose of the baddies in visceral, blood-spurting glory is fun. You're giving the game much more power and credit than it deserves. It's not a reflection of the industry. It's a single game in a sea of games. Enjoying this game is no different from people enjoying the movies Sin City or Kill Bill. Just because both are filled with mindless, over-the-top violence doesn't make those who enjoy the movies less cultured nor does it make the film industry more immature.

What do you think Gamespot will give Little Kings Story and The Conduit?

Brawl578
There's not an option to indicate Gamespot will never get around to reviewing them.

[QUOTE="Skie7"][QUOTE="Pyro767"] 1. Go into wii memory 2. Select the brawl data, followed by "copy to SD card" 3. Take the SD card to a friend's house 4. Go into the wii memory with your SD card in your friends wii 5. Go over to the SD card, select the data followed by "Copy to Wii memory" Not that hard... Pyro767

And, have you tried this...? Because, you clearly haven't or you'd know that Brawl save data doesn't transfer.

Oh my God, I don't take the time to figure out where all the little blips are in the system, I am SO sorry, I swear to you I will bake an apology cake. But... I am pretty sure that I did it before once when I went to a cousin's house... or that could have just been me not finding the little blips inthe systemand making others feel bad about them.

I didn't expect you to know that Brawl save data couldn't be moved. Until you've tried it, or read a post about it, you wouldn't know. But, you had read a post about it. Not only did you tell me that Brawl could be transferred, but it could be transferred easily. I hoped you would realize that you were wrong by looking into it or even trying it for yourself. Instead you decided to plod down the path of ignorance. I apologize if my post made you feel bad as that wasn't my intent. In fact, I tried to point you in the direction to find out for yourself. Oh, and I expect the apology cake to be on my desk no later than 5pm on Friday.

Subjectively, Jaysonguy had a miserable time with it, and that's completely understandable and in no way warrants him being chastised. I had a glorious time with it, and I see no reason for my opinion to be argued with either. What I will chastise him for is his necessity to voice his opinion multiple times in this thread, when it has already been established on the first page. jmangafan
If the other people in this thread hadn't either been telling him his opinion was invalid or requiring him to validate his opinion, it may have stopped at a single post. These people contributed to the additional posts by Jaysonguy, but received none of your aspersions. Also, while I didn't have quite the same experience as Jasonguy as I wouldn't say the game is bad. I will say that Twilight Princess at the best times is good and it's not often at it's best.
