I took 2 years of Jui-Jitsu/MMA. Learned a lot and had a ton of fun. My instructor focused on the takedowns and submissions of Jui-Jitsu, while adding the combat potency of Muay Thai. A little Kung Fu as well, but not very much so I won't claim it.

And it actually payed off in a real situation. A drunk guy wouldn't leave a friend alone, got handsy, got his ass kicked. Drunk or not, knowing how to defend yourself is a great advantage and can only help.

Now, with Jui-Jitsu you won't be roundhouse kicking 5 guys at once, but you surely can handle just about any 1v1 situation you encounter. Given you have the training and right mental focus.

I don't condone this type of behavior but one must put themselves in the frame of reference of a soldier. How many times have we witnessed unlawful brutality at the hands of the Taliban and other extremists? They don't follow the Geneva Convention treaties and never will. We need to grow up and realize that there are people out there who don't care what happens to anyone else. This white knight mentality of "We will not sink to that level" is fine for movies and games. In the real world, seeing your friend tortured and killed is more than enough to justify most acts of vengeance.

As for criminal charges, there should be none. War is a terrible thing fought by hard men and to punish them for not being respectful to enemy combatants who would love more than nothing to see us all engulfed in flames is truly ignorant. None of us were there and we don't know what it's like.

Whoever is in charge at SE just needs to get the hell over it, your best years are behind you, might as well revel in them.

I've played a ton of MMOS. Lineage 2, CoH, WoW, EQ, EQ2. The combat all sucks because...it's on a PC. They are built for Keypads and Mouse-clicks. This creates a slow combat exchange. Controllers are the way to go for sure. I'm not saying you can't see some epic duels in WoW, I know-my main was a rogue. It's just if they would build one focused soley on a gamepad, they could do more. However, then comes the problem of all the extra options the keyboard gives you and blah blah. It's a nasty trade off. All I know is that I wish my MMOs would have played like some of my single-player console games, controlwise.

Not going to lie, Wii U looks really average. Not going to shell out 300$ or more for 4 years of medicore gaming just to get one LoZ game.

Third partys rule this generation and Ninty has had to sit out due to "innovation"

Best game I've played this year. Ps3 version had it's problems at launch, they have fixed most of them since. Can't wait for Bethesda's next masterpiece.

Dark souls is a grindfest and has literally no story. How is this even a contest? Graphics are piss poor, as well.
