Yes, this 2D platformer is beyond the PS4 capabilities. Truly your deduction skills are a thing of legend.

I doubt the win has much to do with DX12. As you can see from the benchmarks the AMD cards soundly beat Nvidia in DX11. Obviously some sort of performance issue with Nvidia then as Nvidia cards are generally faster in DX11.
Why on earth popular YouTubers act like that? To get more views?
Brain dead "entertainment" for the new generation.
An entertainer being entertaining? Perish the thought! I'm 30 and I enjoy watching him, have been for 2ish years now. Sure he is immature, loud, and slightly nuts, but that is what makes him fun.
I love it how he thinks that Sony is still loosing money on every console sold.
Jesus Christ people, would you stop with this Crysis crap already?
I'm a PC gamer, I beat Crysis three times, but please people, there ARE better looking PC games than Crysis. Those are called STALKER and ArmA 2.
IgGy621985
You really think that?
I love it, some people actutally believe that UT3 and Stalker are comparable to Uncharted 2, hell it's laughable. Yes, thanks to the scalabilty of the PC those games can have a far higher resolution then any console game, however resolution is but one factor that dertermines how good a game looks.
Also just an FYI for some people Uncharted 2 does come pretty damn close to Crysis is some areas, in terms of scale and physics it falls short, however in shear visual splendor it comes pretty damn close and even exceeds it in a few cases.
To one of the posters above: Crysis is a linear shooter albiet an one that has a variety of ways to confront a situation.
If anyone here thinks that nvidia will fail and that ATI/AMD is doing well is delusional. All you need to do is to look at the profiles for both companys to realise that.
[QUOTE="PBSnipes"][QUOTE="KingsMessenger"]The circumstances are completely different. The Pre-Production for Mass Effect Trilogy(all 3 games were planned out and the story for all 3 games was written during pre-production) was done using MS's funds. The conversation technology was co-developed by MS. MS had a HUGE part in the development of the IP as a whole, not just Mass Effect 1.... Honestly, if MS really wanted to, they could tie EA up in so much legal BS that the game would never get released. I mean, if Activision could almost stop the release of Brutal Legend despite having no rights or involvement in the IP, and despite letting the game go.... Just take a second to consider what MS could do when they technically had the IP snatched out from underneath them by EA. MS could bury EA in lawsuits if things don't go the way that MS wants.KingsMessenger
You would have a point if it weren't for the fact MS sold all rights to the Mass Effect IP (with the exception of the publishing rights to the 360 version of ME1) to EA. Now there's the potential that some sort of 360/PC "exclusivity" (timed or otherwise) was part of that sale, but otherwise there hasn't been anything stopping EA from bringing ME2 (or ME1 for that matter) to the PS3.
MS wouldn't have agreed to anything unless it was by their terms. No matter what the current circumstances, MS had their fingers too deep into this IP for it to ever see the light of day on a Sony platform. How about no? EA bought the entire IP when they took over Bioware, they can do what they damn well please.
Seem a lot of ignorance going on in this thread, the RSX is bsically a variant on the 7800GTX that has access to two memory pools.
These are the specifications for the 7800GTX and RSX:
7800GTX RSX
Core Speed: 430Mhz 550Mhz
Pixel Shaders: 24 24
Vertex Shaders: 8 8
ROP 16 8
Memory: 256MB 256MB+224MB
Bus Width: 256bit@1.2Ghz 128bit@1.4Ghz+FlexIO
Bandwidth: 38.4 GB/s 22.4GB/s+20GB/s read/15GB/s write
This means that the RSX is roughly equivilant to an desktop Geforce 7800GTX, it also has access to both pools of memory not just the 256MB video RAM, it can access it's video RAM at 22.4GB/s and the 256MB (only 224MB of it) XDR at 20GB/s read and 15GB/s write. The Cell has the ability to access the XDR RAM at 25.6GB/s. The 360, in comparision, has the ability to access the 512MB ram at 22,4GB/s however this bandwidth must be shared by the CPU and GPU.
In terms of general power the GPU are within comparision to each other however the strength of the PS3s general architecture makes up for it. Also the reason for the general better looks of multiplatforms (however not so much in recent time) is due to the 10edram of the xbox as well as it's ease of use.
