@arrow2thekneeXD Nothing beats local split screen. You just can't get the same connection with friends over shared challenges through internet play. This is one of the reasons why growing up in the '90s was one of the best times to be a kid!
@Henry518 Hmm, I think those are quite general and naive statements. The mind has predilections towards and away from various phenomena, i.e. for: sex; not-for: skin diseases. MMO developers use techniques to take advantage of such predilections that stimulate addiction - think about WoW. Do you really think that game is healthy, for anyone, even for short periods of time? If you answer yes to that, you're quite out of touch. Gaming is toxic to well-being, as is Facebook. MMOs are _VERY_ toxic to well-being, and combining VR with MMOs "for old/invalid folks" is one of the worst things you could do for them. Outside of a very narrow range of educational purposes, I don't see how VR is a good thing - especially in the hands of wealthy, money-hungry business-types. I'm not saying it's going to herald the end of the world or something, but it's yet another step in an overall trend of isolating, disconnecting, popularized tools used to distract and blind us to things that are really important.
This looks really, really boring. I like the characters and the moves, and the idea of playing Hyrule characters, but the gameplay looks so stupidly shallow. I'm sure plenty of people will buy it because of the word "Hyrule" and nice screenshots on the box, though.
