On March 1, 2006 later that day I popped in Atari Anthology to play a second time and my PS2 wouldn't read the disc, so I tried other games and dvds, but it still won't read them  I'm guessing the lens need to be cleaned, but I've been too busy and lazy to clean my PS2.
I was even trying to trade in Guitar Hero at EB but they were only going to give $16 for a $80 game! What a bunch of pricks, so of course I said **** that and kept the game.
Today I purchased MechAssault 2 (limited edition) for Xbox again, this time it's for keeps

Hail the 1980's!
by SlayerOfChainer on Comments
After much reading about the history of video games, I was craving to play stuff like Tempest, Breakout, Pong, Space Invaders, Missle Comand, Pac-Man and all those other golden age video games of the 1980's.
So I bought Atari Anthlogy for the PS2!
I am in retro heaven.
Time to get Taito and Activision's collections as well in the future.

It looks like I'm just not hardcore enough to keep Samurai Shodown V, so I traded it in and got Ultra Bust-a-Move for Xbox... so yeah haha.
When I was younger I loved playing Tetris and Bust-a-Move, so it's justified and besides I'v been playing too much fighting games as of late.
I really hope that Xbox 360 Tetris game gets released in the states, I'd play it on Live if I had a 360.

Guilty Gear X2 finally in my hands.
by SlayerOfChainer on Comments
Finally found and purchased Guilty Gear X2 for PS2, yes I know I have the Xbox version.
I just want both versions of some fighting games, so I can have one to play offline (PS2) and one to play online (Xbox).
I'll be getting the PS2 version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection soon if it's cheap, or just wait after Megacon and purchase it at the same time at the release of The King of Fighters NeoWave.

I'm becoming a PS2 junkie again. Yay for buying cheap old games.

Finally got the game and it's great. The old school days of Samurai Shodown were grand. This game is definately for old-school fighting gamers only 8)
Update

Haven't posted here in a while. Lots of stuff have changed to my video game library. I've traded in some dvds and my Gameboy Advance + remaining games to get Guitar Hero. Xbox 360 is mouth-watering and is sold out everywhere. New units won't come in till Feb.
I probably won't buy the system until my interest in a upcoming game urges me to do so. All the games look awesome though, notably Perfect Dark, Project Gothem Racing 3, Quake 3, and Call of Duty.

Two systems only...
by SlayerOfChainer on Comments
The other day I purchased a Sega Dreamcast, Crazy Taxi for DC, and Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PS1.
The problem is that my TV will only have two systems connected at one time which means I have to choose 2 systems, so I disconnected my N64/SNES so I can play my PS2. The reason I can't just re-connect a system whenever I want to is because of the huge entertainment center I have to move plus all the other furniture and crap I have to move, making it a hassle to even try.
Once I get a multi-connecter all will be ok.
-edit I recently got back my PS2 from my sister. Now I have to re-build my PS2 library from scratch. Yay! At least I still have all my saved data.

Well a lot has happened since the last time I posted here, but I'm too lazy to type about.
I'm planning to whoop some at my return to Friday Night Magic tomorrow. Heh, my white deck is severely under-powered from taking my extended cards out. :o But I'll probably beat at least 2 or more people.
I'm going to trade in Star Wars Battlefront today to get a used game at Blockbuster...
I know I know, I used to have it for PS2 (traded it in) and it's the second time I've owned it for Xbox and the last time. The only reason I got it was because of the multi-player and the hype to Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith heh. Hopefully they'll improve on the second installment which is coming out soon.
I'm finding more fun now playing games I haven't played in a while, notably Conker Live and Reloaded and Phantom Dust. I really don't think I'll be getting Rainbow Six Lockdown, but I might rent it. One of my pet-peeves about playing video games is when game developers make sequels that change the game drastically or just plain crappy from the orginal in such a disgusting way... Street Fighter EX3, Tetris Worlds, and so on. In many cases however such as Final Fantasy IIV, Super Mario 64, and Halo 2, the results are breathtaking and extraordinary.
In either way though I'll probably get used to a sequel shooter and take it as something completely different as I did with the upgrade of game mechanics from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 2, but most hardcore players of that franchise will probably feel disappointed.

Be formless to your enemy.

I've recently defeated a friend of mine in Chess 2 times. I wonder how I would fare against others. I've been a strategy gamers since I was 10 years old when I first entered a game of StarCraft so long ago. Not many of my friends are hardcore gamers such as I, even more so most I haven't kept in touch with most if not all of them at all. Recently though, I have hung out with a few of them which was fun.
I'm more interested in opening my mind more and feeling the rush I had on the 23rd, which will ever be so present in my mind but refined in my own way as time goes by, but that is only one journey. As I go on, I will journey into the unknown. Life is full of twists and turns, I hope to experience the joy of whatever life has in store for me.
I hope I can acquire Super Mario 64; a game I lost a few years ago, getting all 120 stars in that game was a real challenge and more importantly the game is simply one of best and funnest games of all time. Nintendo rawks.
This weekend I'm going to crack down on some school studies, get some rest, play a little video games and have a good time. Yay for 4 day weekend every week.
The ultimate skill is to take up a position where you are formless...
...If you are formless, the most penetrating spies will not be able to discern you, nor the wisest counsels be able to do calculations against you...
...Therefore, your strategies for victories in battle is not repetitious, and your formations in response to the enemy are endless...
Those who are able to adapt to change in accord with the enemy and achieve victory are divine...
