Just picked up halo 3 mp again after almost a couple years! Goooood times. But I totally know what you're saying. the guys I work with will ONLY play COD WaW. They REFUSE to play anything else. Couldn't be more lame. NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY WITH ME!
Microsoft isn't exactly known for their fantastic customer care by anymeans, but I think due to legalities they can't just deny warranty work for no reason. And it would need to be documented on there end with an exact reason, with dates and specific information, ya know? I'd just call again and see if you get a different rep on the phone who we all hope to God speak english.
PS - This may only work on the original addition. Not sure if the GOTY edition fixed this glitch. I'd be curious to know how it goes. Hit me up when you try it.
I did this and it's probably one of the best parts of the game. If you're having an issue try leaving the house, waiting 24 hours then going back in. you'll be able to activate her and get the goods. There is no specific order this goes in. I know I didn't use any special order. once completed, she will give you a couple potions. Then for some reason she thought I was trespassing and she attacked me and I couldn't bow out of the fight, so naturally I jacked her up and that was that. here's the cool part. Run back to the castle, hook the Kingish guy up with the juice and he'll pay you for it after you see a cool cut scene. This will glitch and you will be able to activate that conversation piece for the rest of the game providing you 2500 gold everytime you bring it up. Generous guy huh? So after getting a few hundred thousand gold for doing pretty much nothing enjoy the game, with out a worry about cash. Nice huh?
I'm at around 9000. 9% of the way there. Been playing religiously everynight an hour. Usually Hoarding, been through the entire campaign as well.... I can't imagine the amount of time it takes to get this achievement.
