[QUOTE="Australianpope"][QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]that's nut bad except the audio is

THE AUDIO is what I have been talking about the whole time. Which is why i mentioned my ears in the OP, you seem to be the only one that realized what part I meant.

Sorry, I was a bit vague on my post. I was combining everything of what I thought of the intro. The audio is what really caught my attention, but everything else, meh, not really....

It was cool to see him go back and watch himself as a kid with the viewers of what his perspective was with the conflict. He actually called himself a fanboy at the time and I gotta admit a lot of us were back then.

**** I wish I did play it, but instead I played X which wasn't too great. I was hoping for a lot more out of X, but the characters, story, and locations just weren't that good. Does anybody recommend this game over X and should I really spend the cash and time to play it since I do want to get more into action RPG's.

In your opinion, what was your favorite silent hill game and why? Also, which Silent Hill game do you consider the scariest?

Shenmue_Jehuty
It's a bit of a tie between Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 since they were both awesome/amazing games, but it's gonna have to go to Silent Hill 2 for it's psychological atmosphere and story which was deep once you understood it. Silent Hill 1 is gonna have to be the scariest, but honestly I never found the SH series that terrifying, but more awesome. The Nightmarish School and locations give off an extremely astounding atmosphere with all the noises, lighting, monsters, and music involved.

I have only played the first installment of both Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter and they were both great, but I didn't allow myself to have a dull playthrough of them at the time so they really don't have my vote. I have played all the Hitman games and they were great (first one was good, but underrated and the new one coming out seems a bit too modernized, but could be fun) and the Metal Gear franchise I find amazing honestly. MGS 1-4 are one of my favorite games and they gave me quite an experience and since the game can be versatile when you play it in different ways I give my absolute vote to Metal Gear easily.

They should've seen this coming. They have millions of fans spreading their arms to help them out, but nooooo, they just go on ahead onto their own path and create something more disappointing than the last. They need to listen damn it! I still have hope for them though. Versus XIII, KH3, and a possible remake of FF7. Honestly, a lot of the fans would buy their games if it showed a bit more respect to their beloved franchises, but I seriously hope they do change at what they're doing right now since they were once kings sitting on thrones and I want to see them sit once again on that throne. It's been a while...

Final Fantasy IV is a superb, outstanding JRPG even if I played the watered-down, easier version that the US got, it was still amazing. It is one of the best Final Fantasies out there (in my opinion) and it exceeded the first three Final Fantasies in every way with its gameplay, story, characters, and all the included greatness of the game. People say it is simplified when compared to the others including VI and such, but I had a WAY better experience with it than I did with VI (I wasn't as immersed to VI's atmosphere very much nor its settings and characters. Don't get me wrong I liked VI a lot from the first time I played, but then I lost the feel for it over time. I do prefer V over VI anyday since V was a lot more fun for me). Final Fantasy IV had a certain and charismatic charm to it with the whole game which I very much love. The original version of the game could be a lot more satisfactory due to its intended increased difficulty so I recommend getting the versions that were released here in the US that didn't alter the original Japanese dialouge, art, and the difficulty, but whatever is the most obtainable works, too. It's not a bad place to start in the series either. It's good to move up to each game in the series to see how they vastly changed and improved and such. The simpleness to it can go a long way though when it comes to having fun and experiencing, in my honest opinion, one of the greatest RPG's that has ever been created.

A lot of gamers agree that back then it was a happier time to be a gamer with all the great games and advances, but it all depends on your experiences with gaming in general. Some might like this gen better than the previous gens, but meh, I want the feeling that I got years ago while being a gamer in the continuing generations, but a lot of the garbage of the gaming industry needs to be cleaned out to find the true gems or somethin' like that.

The first time is hard for a lot of people, but once you develop an attachment to the game and never stop going at it to complete your task, you'll make it out okay. That said, I had a lot of problems with the SMB series and Megaman series on the NES, but after a while of getting used to the game and lots of trial and error I managed to beat some of the harder levels. NES games are notorious for their difficulty and I think without the difficulty the games wouldn't have been much of a rewarding experience or have a better fun factor than it originally had imo. Lotsa good hard games on the NES.
