Hello, Gang!

I'm just learning about Friend Codes. Can anyone direct me to a place to locate some so I can play other game owners?
Thanks for your input!

Oh, sorry, I did not realize this... I'm a relative "newbie" here.
Sorry.

Hi, Everybody!

I have been thinking about something of late...

Wouldn't it be a beneficial idea to have individual threads dedicated to particular games? Ex.) A thread for questions about, and discussions related to, New Super Mario Bros., Tetris, etc.?

What do you think?
Thanks.

I am by no means a "hardcore" gamer. Mario may be easier than some games, but I would not call it "easy"...

I just encountered my first "boss" somehow. Mario has to avoid being squished between what look to be concerete blocks. Can anyone offer tips on how to defeat the boss and then proceed further? I killed the guy 3 times and shortly thereafter he reformed... so what's the key/secret?

Thank you!

Wow, many of you have extensive collections!

I just bought my pink DSL on Saturday - would have preferred a different color, but I don't mind it now. Presently I have:

Flash Focus
New Super Mario Bros.

EDITED to add: I wanted some sports games and, since my DSL is new, I am really into this, right now. Today I purchased...

Smackdown vs. RAW 2008 from a Gamestop and
Madden NFL 2008 from a Target. Having fun so far! :D

I'll likely add to my "collection" a little at a time. :D

Madden was alot of fun for the ds but I never found a way to update my rosters. I went online & couldn't find any info relating to it either even from the EA Madden site. I know that you can't update even with the PSP version as well so It's probally just the big consoles that get the updates. That's all I could find. By the way, isn't paper football the best!Wegank

Hmmm, thanks, but I certainly HOPE there are ways to update...

I've never been able to make a paper football.

[QUOTE="Smee_7"]

I have a Super Mario Bros. question, too... please help me out if you can.

How do I save my game progress along the way while playing? I know how to close it to put it in sleep or stanby mode, but how can I save it so that, for instance, if I last closed my DS in the midst of level 1-3, I can next begin from that point, rather than always having to start from 1-1?

Please help? :?
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, lack of convenient game saving is one of the few downsides to New Super Mario Bros. The only time you can save is when you a) beat a boss (bosses come up 2 or 3 times per world and look like mini castles/towers on the map or b) using coins to knock down the signs that block the entrance to certain areas

Your first chance of being able to save in world one would be after beating the castle/tower level in between leve 1-3 and 1-4. (After beating the level, it will give you the option of saving progress) Or, you could use five coins to knock down the sign on level 1-3. (press up on the control pad and it will ask you if you want to spend five coins to open, then you can save progress)

Very useful, valuable info. Hmmm... I wonder why that is, re: saving? Thanks, guitarman.
