I just upgraded my video card to the 9600gt.

I have my computer hooked up to both my 19inch monitor and my 32 Inch lcd television(they are cloned to show the same picture).

Before with my older card the display looked pretty good on the television. Now, with the newer card, it looks like the colors are washed out or something. The monitor looks great, but there is something about the television that doesn't look right. It almost looks like it is running in 256 color, but it is actually on 32 bit color.

Has anyone noticed anything like this?

Medal of honor: allied assult on the pc was basically saving private ryan, without the voice cast or names. hazuki

Medal of Honor:Allied Assault was like "Saving Private Ryan" with a PG rating.

[QUOTE="Johnny_Rock"]So is Fallout 2. And Fallout Tactics is coming soon.grassdream

Those require a subscription

I already have a subscription, so i can enjoy all the Fallout goodness.

With all the games you get with Gametap, it is a very good purchase.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I was curious about my power supply, so I opened my computer to check it out. It is only a 250W power supply.

I don't know how my computer was even able to turn on.

So I will be upgrading my Processor, Video card, and adding a 500w Power supply. All of it from newegg for a little over $200.This should hopefully speed up my computer. I downgrading my video card to a 9600gt(it was a lot cheaper, and it made room for the power supply in my budget)

My current system is,

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (2.0GHz, 2000MT/s System Bus)

Memory: 3gb's(I actually have 4 installed but I don't have 64 bit Windows Vista yet, so I guess 1 gb is useless right now)

Video card: Geforce 8500Gt

Now I was thinking of upgrading my Geforce 8500Gt with a Geforce 9600Gt card. I just wasn't sure if $180 is worth upgrading the video card. What kind of performace boost should I get? Or if I should go the processor route.

Thanks!
