I find it funny how last gen multi-plats had huge differences between each platform and nobody cared. Now that the PS3 and 360 have multi-plats that are damn near identical people are so obsessed with declaring a winner. Guess what guys, the difference between multi-plats this generation is so small that the quality and type of TV you have makes a bigger difference. I have my PS3 hooked up to a 52 inch Sony Bravia and my cousin has his 360 hooked up to an Olevia TV. To this day he swears that all the multi-plats look better on the PS3 just because everything looks so crisp and vibrant on my TV while the 360 games look more washed out and less sharp on his tv. We've played Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3, the Resident Evil demo on both systems and they all look better on my PS3 then his 360. Last gen, it didn't matter what TV you had, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, GTA all looked better on the Xbox then the PS2.AppleBladeit matters because Sony charge twice as much for a system that cant even outdo the 360 which seems to trounce the ps3 with the majority of multiplats..
I'm looking at both systems and the decision is pretty close. I am a casual gamer and play only once in a while. I am leaning towards more for the PS3 at the moment for the built-in wireless and blu-ray player. I know if I get the Xbox 360 Pro and buy the wireless adapter it would be the same price as the PS3 80GB. Can anyone tell me if the wireless adapter is any good? I'm hoping to hear more about the pros of each as well, rather than the cons.GerOhMyGoshwhat about the wii :P
So is this what gaming has come to? You buy a portion of the game (8hours) then to get the rest you have to pay for it. Talk about milking gamers I remember when you got 100 hours of gameplay for $50. They can take thier downloadable content and shove it I won't buy it or thier game.jdc6305you get what you pay for with gears 2, horde mode, online multiplayer and the campaign which took me alot longer than 8 hours. its well woth its price.
