I didn't make it into the beta for AoC - what are the real chances of more spots opening up? I'm really interested in this game, but I don't want to preorder it until I've played it...

While I'm aware that many people are getting both, I wonder if Prologue is worth it. Also, I have no GT experience - is GT5 Prologue a good/worthwhile time to jump on that boat?

I'd go for Warhawk, UT3, Team Fortress 2 (Orange Box), or Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

-they all have online as well

one day i will be accepted into a beta test.... the only beta i've been in is Guild Wars, but that was so long ago. I guess the key to getting into betas is to be among the first to apply. Anyone else experiencing toruble getting into betas? If not, what is you SECRET!??!?

Latest beta rejected from: AoC

thanks

it seems like everyone i kill always has martyrdom - do you guys really get a decent amount of kills off of it? it seems to me that there are other better perks that could be used in its place. imo anyways

What are your thoughts? I'm thinking it's a better idea to have a hard copy of the game in case there are hard drive issues...

i'll start it off

PSN ID: FunkyMonk11 (Prestige #3, lvl 34)

Primary: M4 w/ Red Dot Sight attachment

Secondary: M1911 .45 w/ silencer

Flash Grenade

Perk 1: RPG-7 x 2

Perk 2: Stopping Power

Perk 3: Steady Aim

I personally find the Stopping Power/Steady Aim combo to be the best because it allows you to get the most damage out in close range encounters, as well as distance shooting, if needed.

I've noticed for some time the lack of online activity on PS3 when compared to XBOX Live. I realize that this is largely in part because of the higher amount of X360 games available at this point, but I think it could also have something to do with a lack of 'community' sense on PSN. Will PSHome bring that sort of connection throughout all the games? Even the ability to contact someone while they are playing a separate game like in Live?

Just wondering, thanks

i don't have that much socom experience, but isn't it more squad based combat as opposed to an individualized feeling as in COD4? (in terms of online play). because unless youre in a clan and all have mics, you pretty much do your own thing. is socom more technical militarily? if so, that could take away from the fluidity of the gameplay that COD4 boasts
