NO

See the little plus symbol next to a few things, that means you need PS PLus, Pretty much 90 percent of the demos are free demos, just the ones with the PLUS symbol you need PS PLus, MAG is only multiplayer, and PS Plus gets you free stuff, so yeah.........

There is no definition, but it's a game where you make decisions, that's where the meat of it lies.

[QUOTE="TheMoreYouOwn"]

[QUOTE="dog_dirt"]this is true. its a fact that the cheaper something is the better it is. and why a Honda Civic>>>>>Ferrari 458iSpideR_CentS

When you buy that Honda Civic, do you have to also purchase a yearly service fee to use the ac?

Doesn't matter what the fee is too me. I have never payed more then $35 a year for live. Live is vastly better and I play on both. I'd say its more like the differance between a Honda (PSN)and an Acura (XBL). I would rather pay a little to play on the vastly better service. Anyone saying PSN = XBL doesn't play on both. Its not close.

I dont get it though, what is the difference that YOU pay for, like, are you payng 30-60 dollars a year just for Cross game chat, cause that is all i see that is better about Xbox Live, and ESPN. But its opinions so dont matta

wtf whoever voted 360 is an idiotHollowMan89

Wtf whoever voted PS3/Wii is an idiot. See, I can do that too.

But, I pick Xbox cause ( I have all 3 ) I don't really use it as much as my PS3. And the Wii neeeds to stay there, cause I need my console Mario . And XBox Live is pretty annoying..

Seeing I just got 30 hours of gameplay out of Mass Effect 2 and only got about 12 out of both Uncharted games combined... yeah I'm sticking with Mass Effect.

Wasdie

Nahh, Uncharted 2 Is NOT that short, unless you never died, skipped all cutscenes, played on very easy, I mean, it is at least 9-12 hours.

I don't think inflation has anything to do with it. First and foremost, the consoles of this generation started at a higher launch price (except for Wii) with Xbox360 at $400 and PS3 at $300.

The other major difference between this and all past generations, the SKU factor. All previous consoles had only a single model that progressively dropped in price as expected with depreciating technology. What once was new and cutting edge becomes old and by extension less valuable.

But X360 and PS3 started with two SKU's, and intead of remaining fixed in their configurations, the manufacturers kept on upgrading the specs of their systems, keeping a near level price point, while phasing out the older models that ould have rapidly dropped in price. Sure we've seen the prices drop, but today's 360 and PS3 sport higher spec standards than their original launch models, so the decrease was much more gradual than what happened in past generations with fixed system models.

PS3 didn't start at $300, didn't it start at $600 or something. And didn't xbox start at 500? or was it 400.. Forgots.
