See thats the part i don't understand, theres no os in there but im running on it right now. I don't know much about bios so its fairly confusing. There are Hard drive, SATA, and DVD/CD. Looking up on it right now but if theres a qiuck answer then id rather hear from someone here.

Every time i turn on my computer it boots into a black screen stating info about voltages and fans ect. It sits for a minute, then asks me to select or insert boot media device (aka vista im guessing), but its all a bunch of lieeees! In reality, all i need to do is hit the restart button and it reboots properly into vista w/o asking for this. All in all i guess its not a problem, but an annoyance, and im sure restarting my computer from powerup rather than shutdown everyday will only lead to further problems down the road.

Any idea what this is? Suggestions? Possibly a wipeout and just reinstalling vista to fix this problem?

Running on...VTek 4870, intel quad q6600, Biostar Tforce tp43d2a7 MoBo, West dig 7200rpm hd, 4gb g.skill ddr2 ram. 650w corsair psu, liteon dvdbrn

Any questions about the specs just lmk, its my first build so im pretty new but i get the jist of it.

Sometimes when i turn on this computer i get the message.. "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key", I have already installed windows vista and this only happens on occasion i'd say 50% of the time. A simple fix to this is just for me to hit the restart button and on the reboot the message doesn't show up the second time, or for me to just instart my windows vista cd when turning on the computer. Not sure if this has something to do with the bios which im not very good with, this is just my first computer build. Help would be greatttt!

Just want a decent set of speakers w/ a woofer. Looking to pay around like 60$us or less. Don't want to have to buy a sound card for it, wont be listening too it to loud or anything, but i do like a little bass.

Going to install my 4870 but want the updated ones online. Seems that the link from the cd to the updates send me to a site to put in info about my pc, then leading me to catalyst driver downloads that are for AMD. I have an intel.. Just wondering if someone could send me a link to the correct most recently up to date drivers for a raedon 4870. thanks
