Yep, it's the lowest I've seen it in my area in a long time (~1.69 is the lowest I've seen). Crude oil is at the lowest price it's been since the late 90's. Producers haven't been wanting to lower their supply, so you have high supply and low demand which both put downward pressure on the price.

I guess that's one good thing about this whole ordeal. I imagine prices will stay low for quite a while.

Haven't played video games that much the past several months, so I'm kinda taking this opportunity to enjoy myself because it's now encouraged to stay inside. The rest of my final semester of university is online, so I now have little reason to leave my apartment. Aside from video games I'm keeping an eye on the stock market and trying to take advantage of the volatility. So yeah, I think I'm going to be just fine with this.

Strange options to choose from as those games are vastly different experiences and pretty much in no way comparable. If you have interest in both games, just get them both... should be able to find them dirt cheap.

Wow, I didn't realize this was even out. I was always amazed by what people managed to make in LBP, but the online was so sluggish and riddled with loading times that it ruined the fun after a while. So I hope this game doesn't have similar issues. Anyway, this looks really cool. I can't even begin to comprehend how people manage to make levels like these, but I can't wait to play them!

Absolutely. Can't believe Naughty Dog is forcing the existence of gays and women down our throats. smh my head why can't they just go with non-political straight white male characters?

I'm usually not impressed with Black Friday sales when it comes to video games because I can usually find stuff for just as cheap, if not cheaper, on eBay. But I did pick up Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 for $30 each. Figured I shouldn't pass up on that because Nintendo games usually don't go down very much in value, or do so very slowly.

Would be a nice bonus but I can't see it happening. I'm not that technologically smart or very smart in general, but I'd think that it'd be really difficult, or not even possible, to have it be able to play both PS4 and PS3 discs when it was either too much trouble or not possible to have the PS4 play PS3 discs.

I mean, you could just wear headphones to drown out the noise. Or just pass entirely on a console and its library of games because of some fan noise. Up to you, I suppose.

I mostly think about the likely nothingness that will occur when I die. It's incomprehensible, like trying to remember what things were like before I was born. Given the nothingness situation, I'm not really afraid to die. I just don't want to experience death, which I suppose sounds kind of strange. I don't want it to be prolonged or painful. I sometimes imagine being practically chained to a bed for the last few months of my life with medical staff basically forcing me to stay alive on a technical level. That sounds shitty.

What's probably worse is if I am wrong about there being nothing. It's not so much about facing judgment and going to Hell (although, that would suck), it's about existing forever in some form. What the hell would I do for all of eternity? I would get bored after so much time and probably try to kill my dead self only for the soul of my dead self to come back or some shit. But I guess that is assuming that "living" in the afterlife is similar to what living is like now. I could do this for some 80 years or so and be ready to move on by that time, but hundreds... thousands... millions of years? I'd really need to keep finding new things to do to not get bored with existing lol.

Not surprising. Relative wages and costs of living have not risen equally. I've found living on my own to be fairly manageable, even when earning a fairly low wage. But that's not possible everywhere, namely big cities. And with student debt, I also see why young couples buying a house together isn't nearly as common as it used to be. Education costs are insane and it is difficult to find a job with decent pay without at least some higher education.
