So I picked up WWE Smackdown vs. Raw '06 again.  Basically, I have this little TV stand with a TV on it, and two shelves.  Bottom shelf is DVD player, and the top/middle shelf is where the PS2 is.  beside the PS2 is always a box set or two (Lost Season 2 and Simpsons Season 3...  yeah, we don't have cable right now), maybe a movie, and the games you see in my Now Playing section, minus the handhelds of course.  Anyways, I always have 2-4 games sitting there, and just kinda pick which ones I want when I sit down.  It'll be nice to have our nice, 52" TV back, but all in due time, plus that means I have to buy a wireless controller since my last one broke.

Now that that's said.  We left work early Friday due to an ice storm, at noon exactly, and just got wave two earlier this afternoon.  I was hoping there would be no work tommarow (we get paid for that crap, by the way), but I don't see that happening.  I was hoping Talladega Nights on UMD was going to be here yesterday too, but that didn't happen.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw '06 (PS2)

I've beat season mode twice, once on Raw with Cena, and once on Smackdown with a created wrestler.  I've got two created titles, a singles and a tag one.  Three created wrestlers, a singles for Smackdown and a tag team for Raw.  I'm working on Challenges, but some of them are difficult.  To me anyways.

Need For Speed Underground 2 (PS2)

Okay, haven't played this in a few days, but I did switch to a white Supra.  It sucks at AutoX's but rules at everything else my 240SX was having trouble with. 

Guitar Hero 2 (PS2)

I've got 5 stars on every song on Medium, the first two sets on Hard.  And 4 stars on most of the rest of the Hard songs (except the bonus tracks, though I have 5 stars on all of them on Medium).  I'm stuck on Expert.  Can't do Rock this Town or Crazy on You.  Funnest song ever = Cherry Pie on Hard/Expert.  5 stars on that on Expert, BTW.

So now that a release date has been set for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, I'm pretty much waiting for that.  Four months is a long time to wait.

Scarface (PS2)

This game is great.  I'm just past Downtown, and level 5.  My favorite car so far is the black one with flames, don't remember the name.  Resembles a Camarao and Chevelle.  I only have 3 or 4 gangs left to take out in Little Havanah, and about 18 or so in Downtown.  This is the game that made me quit Resident Evil 4 and for good reason.

Need for Speed Underground 2 (PS2)

So I FINALLY got this game.  This is still best in series in my opinion.  I just unlocked the Heights, driving a 240SX with a 2.74 * rating. 

Pimp My Ride (PS2)

Wow.  This game is amazing...  in the stupid catergory!  I knew it couldn't be THAT bad, but I was wrong.  Easy 1 out of 10.  Actually I was going to give it a .1, but that wasn't possible.  I don't even want to go into what it was "about".

So I didn't let me friend know that I had GH2.  He was all cocky and thinking that he was going to beat me.  Well, after showing him "how good I still was", I spilled the beans that we (we being me and my fiance) had bought it last weekend, and had been playing it nonstop.  Oh the look on his face..  he was like, "You jerk." 

I pretty much beat him every single game we played.  He had best performance, but I had a higher score, but that was on just a few.  My fiance even got in an played, but she would play on medium while we played on expert.  Not that we are awesome on expert, it's just more fun. 

And yesterday also brought the first song we wrote.  Called "Empty Space".  I gave him the beats to the lyrics, and he just wrote this amazing riff, and in one hour we had a whole song wrote.  All we have to do is polish it up, and he hasn't heard me sing over it yet.  So yeah, yesterday was awesome.  He's easily the best guitarist I've woked with, and I knew we could write some good music.

So yeah, my fiance just got back from Wallie-World..  with Guitar Hero 2!!!  My friend was supposed to come over, who has the first one (and traded another friend for the 2nd one), but isn't now.  He was going to bring GH2.  Now I get time to practice behind his back.  I got pretty good at the first one when he let me borrow it.  Better then him, but now he has it back, and has been playing it abit.  So it might be even now.  Can't wait.

Since it's been awhile, I've played a few games since last time.  Playing FF12 right now, as well as Resident Evil 4 for the first time.  Had rented Activision Hits Remixed on the PSP.  Good game.  But a buyer, not a renter.  Pokemon Trouzee is coming in.  Bully, I hated.  And Guitar Hero, which I already stated was AWESOME.

Outside of that, me and that friend are talking of starting a band.  I think it will be awesome.  He has talent, I've heard him play (guitar, metal-influenced).  I just hope he likes my vocals, and working with me musically.  But we both agreed we'd see what happened.  No hard feelings either way.  I just hope he takes it seriously (he sounds dedicated, but every band I try and start ends for one reason or another, and my fear is him jumping back with his old jam people after we write some good stuff.)  But we'll see.  I'm excited regardless.

Went to the AiC concert last Friday night.  It was pretty good, not just the concert, but knowing that you'll never get to see that again.  They had an acoustic set in the middle, showed some footage of Layne.  And the singer was a pretty good copy.  But the opening band was horrid.  So yeah..  my advice, stay away from Hurt.  First, there was a guitarist with frizzy hair, wearing goggles and a scarf.  Then, when they played good, they would suddenly stop.  Now, as a musician, I understand stops can be dramatic, but there were WAY to many.  The singer looked like a Metallica rip off.  So yeah, I just tried to ignore them towards the end, and tried to push the memories in the back of my head.

Need for Speed Carbon (PS2)

This game is great...  in small doses.  I always play for to long, and it burns out.  So I have to start over, and I do it again.  So I've played like, 20 hours maybe, in two different files, and the same thing always happens.  But I'm still glad I own it, because I'm a racing ame fanatic.  I mean, 12 of my 17 games are racing games.

The Autosculpt feature is everything I wanted, but of course, more would be better,  My biggest complaint is not the short story mode, but the fact that you can't unlock all the cars within the game under one profile..  without the glitch, of course, which I haven't tried yet.

Grand Theft Auto : Liberty City Stories (PSP Rental)

I had high expectations for this game. I was let down highly.  When I first got it, I had a huge sinus head ache, so it was hard to play.  I played for like 20 minutes.  Waited two days.  In hopes of being better, I picked it up when I was feeling better.  It was better, gameplay wise.  It no longer made my head swim.  But as I progressed into the story, the game went from a 7 to a 5.  So I sent it back last Wednesday.  And as of Yesterday, Bully is in transit.  woot!!

Well, I was disappointed that this demo only had 3 demos on it to play, and that Killzone UMD.  So I shall just express my want for NFS Carbon.

Need for Speed Carbon (PS2 Demo)

I've now beaten it three times, once with each car.  I actually went over the edge of the cliff twice on accident driving the Lambo.  I like the awkward tail slide of the Camaro SS more.  It was my favorite car in the demo.  Which is weird.  But oh well.  Only a few more weeks.  I like the AutoSculpt, but I hope it lets you do more.  And I hope it lets you do the wide bodies.  AND I hope widebodies aren't a one car, one time only deal like in NFSU2.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue (DS)

Haven't been playing this a whole lot.  Had other things going on, between arthritis early in the week, to getting Mega Man Powered Up, to getting home seemingly late each day.  So I haven't had enough to justify writing about.  Well, my friend has all three birds.  And Entei.  AND he's seen Mew.  TWICE!  I have..  Zapdos.  With 0 Mew sightings.  So yeah.  I'm in WIsh Cave right now, with Zapdos only, actually.  Kinda regretting it, though.  Charizard has Heat Wave.  Zapdos doesn't have a move like that, so I'm about to warp out.

Mega Man Powered Up (PSP Rental)

Okay, I'm not a HUGE Mega Man fan, but I do enjoy them.  But this game is pretty good.  I'm playing on Powered Up, Amanda is playing Classic.  I've beaten two bosses (Bomb Man and Cut Man).  I haven't played in a day or so.  MIGHT play some today, depends.  But overall, this game is not a keeper.

I bought the current issue for the Killzone demo, but fell in love with two others.  I'm about done with FatF.  I still like the game, minus the loading time.  That gets ridiculous..  REAL QUICK.  I will buy it eventually, but I think I'm going to send it back Monday morning.  Going to watch Scarface this weekend, because I think that'll be the next game I rent.  My friend bought it, and him and my best friend agree that it's awesome.  And since NFS Carbon is coming soon, I want to play a non-racing game for a bit.  Anyways..

Killzone : Liberation (PSP Demo)

I didn't like this game.  I was expecting a FPS, not a Metal Gear Solid'ish game.  Other then that, it wasn't horrible.  For the demo, I'd give it a 4/10.  Just because of the viewpoint.  The graphics, however were pretty decent.

Guitar Hero 2 (PS2 Demo)

Since I don't have the guitar, I couldn't play it.  But my friend has it, so I will.  I did watch the demo, and it looks awesome.  I watched the first song, "Shout at the Devil", on Easy, then Expert.  Wow.  That's all I can say.  As a guitar enthusiast, this game looks beyond amusing.

Need for Speed Carbon (PS2 Demo)

Someone said the graphics sucked in a forum post.  LIAR!  I call shenanigans!  They were demo graphics.  About the same as NFSU2 demo graphics.  I don't necessarily want BETTER graphics on the PS2 version, that's what the PS3/360 is for..  I just want awesome features.  And from what I can tell, the Autosculpte is AWESOME to the MAX.  Forgive the hype, but I LOVED it.  Solid 9.9/10 so far.  The physics seemed goofy, but then again, I've been playing FatF for a week and a half, so...  Yeah.  Anywas, I look forward to this game.  Comes out the same day as the 40 Below Summer CD/DVD.  w00t!

Sent back Bust a Move.  I played it for about 2 minutes.  My girlfiend, however, played it a LOT.  She loved it.  I can't decide what game to rent on the PSP next, though.  Thinking Infected. 

Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift (PS2 Rental)

This game is more fun then I thought it would be.  The first night I played it I got 17% complete.  Forgot to check yesterday before I shut it off.  My current car is a 1991 Mazda RX-7.  Pearl off-white, Origin body kit, sleepy headlights, C-West spoiler.  I like the Chargespeed wide body, but I'll buy a seperate one for that.  It looks like the widebody that Sobær will build in my novel as his race car, while he drives a stock-body '99 RX-7 on the street.  But that race car will have the 20B swap, which I don't have in the white one I'm driving.

I started with an S13 coupe, go figure.  Used it to beat the first Wangan crew, then I looked around to shops and noticed the RX-7 (FD) in the US lot, instead of the Mazda lot.  So I bought it, sold the S13.  Tried out the AE86.  Didn't like it.  Sold it.  Tried out the FC.  Was moderate.  Beat quite a few drift races with it, and even a grip race with drift tires against a WRX.  It was close because I was all over the road.

Since I thought the RX-7 LOOKED bad ass (the FC), I sold the performance stuff and kept it.  Pearl red with an Origin wide body kit, sleepy eyes, Volk wheels.  SEX on WHEELS!  Then I went and bought the '67 Stang.  Couldn't do the RB swap, so I sold it.  Bought an Altezza.  Not impressed with it's performance.  So I'm about to sell it.

So...  so far, I LOVE the FD and kinda like the FC.  Still want to try several other cars..  we'll see what happens.

Well, FatF isn't in the mailbox yet.  I figured it wouldn't be, but I had my hopes up anyway.  Went over to my friends house today.  Woo-hoo.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (DS)

My friend traded me three Blue Gummies for three Sky Gummies (I recieved the latter for my Latias).  Then I found one more, so I gave him that, and he gave me two Gold Gummies.  Soooo, I gave him 3 Joy Seeds.  It was a fun trade.  Before I left, I told him if he died, call me, and I'd go rescue him (he's been dying a lot in Buried Relic, or so he has to my understanding).  I get home, and not even five minutes later, the phone rings.  I get the code, venture into Wyvern Hill and rescue him. 

Need for Speed Underground (PS2)

I started playing this..  AGAIN.  Playing my street racing game to prepare for the one on it's way.  Started with the Miata.  Right now, it's metallic black with the Flyte wing, Enkei wheels, and the first lip kit.  I think I also have grape neons.  About to go play some more now.  I REALLY need to buy the second one..  >.>

Well, went to Tulsa today, or "T-Town" as us Okies call it.  Seen the fuschia G35.  God I love it.  Beautiful wheels.  Nice paint job.  Decent bodykit.  Just needs a nice exhaust.  Went there originally for a Pokemon event.  My friend Rude here on GS got Mario 3-on-3.  He says it's awesome.  I'll give my opinion tmmarow night after I get back from his house. 

Gamefly sent Fast and the Furious today.  Bought time.  I sent back Micro Machines Tuesday  I think they were slackin'.  But I'll let them slide without a dirty email this time.  Which reminds me.  There's a nice little RC Car I seen at Toys 'R Us.  It was the RX-7 from the movie.  NIIIIICE.

Pokemon Ruby (GBA)

Got Mew!!!  w00t!  Level 10.  It was a special event they had at TRU today.  Me and two of my friends went with my girlfriend and son.  Leveled it up to 17, and called it good for now.  Been playing Mystery Dungeon non-stop.

Pokemon : Mystery Dungeon (DS)

46 hours in.  Finally got my first legendary.  It was Regirock.  Fought him and the other two 6 times.  At least.  I'm using Charizard (starter) and Flygon, with help from Feraligator most of the time.  Got 6500+ rescue points, and on two class A rescues right now.  9 Pokemon evolved, 57 joined my team, 1783 floors explored, and 146 adventures.  Off to play some more, or NFSU.  Oh, and I bought the strategy guide to this game as well.
