Most developers only complain about piracy and used sales, and keep using DRM and DLC(day one release and on-disk,are the worse)but a good game sells, that just it, not just with games but: movies, series, music, etc...

Another Gears Of War, another Saint's Row, and(obviously) new DLC and with a pre order bonus, when it gives bad sales they blame on used games and piracy.

@s2i2p2i2o People need money to buy a new system, with Europe in this awful state, and the world on the reaching on a new global economical crisis, its a bad idea, actually both 720 and Wii U are bad idea themselves, in fact 3DS and Vita are bad ideas too.

Another stupid project to cause more damage on themselves, good work Sony, all this DLC, DRM and digital distribution gonna be these companies downfall.

True, the digital realism is reaching the limit, in a future generation they should focus, in the hardware power, and its difficult to imagine a hardware power higher than the PS3, to prove this the others companies are trying to compete with the PS3, not trying to suprass but to compete against.

And I also think they should focus on backward compatibility.

A new generation is just like a New Year vow, you always do the same every year because in the end you never change.

Wii U will be a massive problem for Nintendo, and the 720 will crush even more the creativity of the developers, the thing about a PS4 is just a rumor, as Sony said the there will be no PS4 for the next 5 years.

@shadowhunter0 the problem is the slow sale. due the low income, the next system needs to sell a lot and fast.

To me the new generation idea, 3DS, VITA, Wii U, and Xbox 720, are all awful ideas.

They steal from both consumers and developers.

The EA that the old generation gamers knew, died a long time ago.
