Hm for me personally I enjoy both games.

I don't see a reason to pick over the other. Both offer great action/adventure rpg gameplay.

Love the game, plays fantastic on PS5 in performance mode. It's not perfect in that mode but most of the time in 50-60fps range.

Othwerwise, superb game.

This year will be great for both systems. For me personally on Xbox side I am looking forward to Starfield. Other then that whatever comes on the Gamepass where it saved me money instead of buying it on the PS5.

The add a opinion I don't believe 2022 is the year. I believe 2023 and 2024 will be a breakthrough years when all the major games Microsoft Invested into will show up besides Starfield of course.

Its been a while..

Personally I do see Microsoft do well this generation and I also added Series S to my PS5/Switch collection simply because Gamepass is a fantastic value, especially for my kid who shares it with me and the whole family in general.

Now that aside, my PlayStation remains my primary go to machine, it's a personal preference for the last 20+ years and today the PS5 continues that tradition for many reasons, one of which are the remarkable exclusives. From that list to me at least Chernobyl and Starfield are the only two game (so far) announced on the Gampass that I will play. On the other hand I will be buying Horizon Forbidden West, God of War, Sifu, Final Fantasy XVI, Gran Turismo 7 and possibly Forspoken which I'm still looking into.

Now I love Gamepass but I don't believe it will be enough to catch up or sell more console then the PS5. I also believe there is some kind of similar service coming to PlayStation early next year as well which will steam some of the Gamepass popularity if priced well.

Either way this will be a great competitive generation and it will be a great time to own both consoles or at least PC/PS5 combo.

Absolutely love the game, it feels amazing with the 1980's Cyberpunk setting. Even though its on GP I ended up buying to support such a small, talented team of twelve developers.

I wish them luck and hopefully we will see a bigger project in the future. Its not perfect by no means however its fun and enjoyable and once again a perfect proof how dedication and hard work pays off. :)

Depending where to live it's already past that point. Here in Canada some new PS5 games are 89.99+tax so around 98.00$ for a new release in EB/Gamespot/Best Buy and its been this way for the last six months.

79.99 for the last year or so. Even though our conversion rate isn't that large, CAN dollars goes for around 81c/per American dollar it still sucks.

This reminds me of my old Sega Genesis/ NES days where I would save my lunch money to buy 100$ cartridge's.

Nowadays, with home and family to take care of thank god for excellent sales just few months after the game releases. ;P

Personally I believe when the developers Microsoft acquired start releasing the AAA games and they become successful that's when the "train will start moving" in proper direction and I do believe Xbox will be successful this generation.

I am also waiting for those games to arrive so I can pick up Series X or upgrade my current older PC to enjoy those games.

The game looked fantastic from the latest video shown running on PS5 and with todays economic worldwide situation its understandable why some current gen games have to include the previous ones.

I'm actually surprised new Ratchet is only on PS5 to be honest.

Either way, choosing a next gen system does allow visual/audio/performance enhancements over the old gen so the choices are there.

Tough one, back in the day when I used to have a solid rig Crysis would always be my favorite.

I love Metro series as well, read the books which are fantastic.

Today I would say I prefer them both equally, Crysis 2 still remains my favorite and I look forward to the 2 % 3 later this year.

From that list definitely Outlast 2.

In dark room with great headphones set its pretty darn good.

Also The Evil Within 2 is superb.
