I think in your case, a standard Ps4 is a good choice. You already have a good pc so I don't see a reason to go with the Pro version. Unless you really want it and have extra money.

I'm in the similar predicament, already have a ps4 but strongly considering the Ps4 Pro until I can pick up the 4K monitor and TV.

There is no rush right now to be honest.

Interesting how much hate is given to original Bioshock - Nine years later? Where have you been then? In 10 years span a lot of expectations change. Blog it - you dissatisfaction obviously doesn't match with majority of gamers (myself included) who loved the original game. This also goes for the critics who gave the game multiple awards.

Is it "cool" to hate on the game all of a sudden? And yes - Bioshock 2 is worse then the first title. Don't agree? That's horrible.. Blog it.

Just finished a chat session with PS tech support regarding the ability to take my existing 2TB HDD out of my original PS4 and simply install it in the Pro, turn it on and be good to go. I'd imagine I'll have to deactivate it first, but long story short - they don't know yet.

Don't know why the "tech support" is a moron...

You will have to format the HDD if you swap between PS4's or PS4 to PS4P, the HDD needs to be registered by the new console and for that to happen, it will need to be formatted.

You cant expect it to be swappable and just expect it to work.

I can confirm this as well, the hard drive in the PS4 Pro is the same one within the current PlayStation 4 console. Swap it up and it will reformat to the new system as GTR12 already explained. As for the "tech support" you spoke with - maybe they should be looking for a new work field..

Hm, I have decided I will upgrade to PS4 Pro and the simple reason is better, stronger console where current and future games will operate optimally.

Of course developers will take advantage of the hardware - that's what they have been asking for every time new game is in the works.

I'm also in the market for a 4K monitor and the PS4 Pro will complement it well.

I need a set of headphones with a mic for ps4. The problem I encounter is that to plug into the controller and ps4 is very short. Is there a headset that I can use while sitting on the sofa and playing on my flatscreen? Any help would be most welcome and Thank you in advance!

I got these around two years ago. Absolutely loved them:

After playing both games, I do recommend The Witcher 3, it's has great main story as well as sides stories worth exploring.

Can't go wrong with either games really, especially if you're Lord of The Rings fan. ;)

Im hating this new console. And Microsoft is also introducing a console that has games you can also play on PC. So.... Why not just stick to PC ? ...

Because you can't play PS4 exclusives on the PC? Which are quite a few, or maybe because we don't wish to keep up with PC hardware or troubleshooting? Or maybe, we have friends on the console that we play with?

There are other reasons however in the end it's a preference.

No reason to hate on the console gaming bud the more gamers we have across all platforms - the better. ;)

I noticed the fans only kick in louder when there isn't a good ventilation or the area (room) the PS4 is located is too warm in general. Otherwise, it's working normal.

Hard to recommend when we don't know which type of games you like. Since that's the case, I will assume you don't mind trying all of them. With that in mind, I am a fan of Bloodborne.

Once you're done with it, I would give Ratchet and Clank a try. Almost like playing a pixar movie.
