[QUOTE="Soldi3r1stClass"][QUOTE="Alaris83"][QUOTE="Soldi3r1stClass"] 360 = £200.... Alienware monster rig = £2500... quality difference... marginal... gameplay= THE SAME

Get a clue, buddy. The difference is in the complexity of gameplay when compared to previous games in the series. Play Daggerfall or Morrowind, then play Oblivion and tell me Oblivion isn't dumbed down.
Okay genius explain to me how that disproves my point about price and enjoyment? We're talking about the sky and youre describing your feet to me. Plus how is oblivion dumbed down? The combat was more complex, the world ten times bigger, physics based traps... whereas morrowing was a slapfest where even if you could SEE the sword connect it didnt coz the stupid STATISTICS said it couldnt... coff coff
First of all i :lol:. Second you seem to compare the price of Xbox to the price of a overpriced rig, you can build a rig for £500!!Alienware is overprice pc for anal people who like cool looking case. So you price argument is worthless. Further more by the time Fallout 3 comes out(knowing oblivion they will take their time)PC will be/are more powerful than the 360
Thirdly, i will be here all day explaining to you how oblivion was dumb down..i will give you a few observations
1)jack of all trades-If you are master of blade, that means you can easily use dagger as well a two handed sword. How does that make sense
2)There is no point choosing what class you are because in this game, you can level up to be fighter/thief/wizard/!!there is no restrictions at all
3)less weapons,less magic, less interesting quests,less dialogue
etc etc..i could be here all day

Yeah shame on me for enjoying my "dumbed" down console. A Pc can be £500 eh? Wow that totally defeats my argument. Yeah the xbox being £200 gets totally shot down by your brilliant deductions......... yeah. Also aww no restrictions on oblivion? That means i dont have to restart the game so i can be a different class? sweet! And jack of all trades? Learn by doing? Whereas clicking points into your skills makes sense. Let me see i want to get fit for my upcoming swimming tryouts. Do i do it by A swimming? Or b allocating the skills i picked up fixing my bike so that i can swim better?.............................................................. Even if it is dumbed down. It was still fun. It was still a good game. It was probably made like that to take the stress out of gaming for people with not so much time on their hands. People paying their way though law school who enjoy a half hour of gaming that doesnt involve learning a whole other trade so that he can build his own cool "rig". People who get interesting quests every day and complex dialogue trees with actual people. Soooooo you could be here all day eh? Good for you.
