Playing through the demo i got several impressions none of which were good. Firstly the general feel of the game= They said they were going to make it very atmospheric and put all that effort into your surroundings. Admittedly it looks and sounds amazing but this criticism ties in with the second. The game has been overcooked. So much of it looks tacked on in the last second. For example the beyond hideous HUD. It blocks half of your view to the lush world, its mostly unnecessary and primitive. Forgetting the ancient gen health bars that stupid attack bar that tells you how much health your enemies have is just ridiculous. other overcooked elements are those start down the barrel of you gun. Totally useless. Then the minigames. I've never seen such an unrealistic way to hack a robot then to act like a SNES plumber andrearrange the pipes so the slowest water in the world can reach the other arrow. Even the sound was terrible. You hear voices but they seem to be coming from everywhere. A person standing next to you sounds the same as one far across the room. Its like theyre in your head.
Please lets try and keep it constructive.No fanboyism like "BIOSHOCK THE BEST GAME EVAR YOU N00B!!"... If you like it explain why. If not say why.
It came out relatively recently. It was a simple radar looking turn based strategy game. You choose to be a continent and you drop nukes on other warring continents. Also you get airforce and navy to fight with. I can't remember the name and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get it... nudge nudge..... nudge
9. i think itll be a lot of fun as it normally is. people will complain its linear. But the AMAZING multiplayer will push it up. and finally something will kick r6 off live.
no it wasnt an rts nor did it have huge production values. t was 2d and radar type graphics but looked amazing. you launch nkes and wait to see if theyre intercepted while the war wages on

i got mine on release. still got it. still works great. ive taken it around to other countries and friends houses as well. i think all these guys getting the three lights must be drop kicking their consoles or wrapping them in woolen sweaters.
