I joined around 2004, posted a ton, and then have been a lurker for the last few years. Recently, i haven't even bothered lurking.

The DS is actually on a ridiculous role lately. Along with GTA, in about aweek's spanthere'salso been Avalon Code, Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden, and Henry Hatsworth, which all could be very good games (scoring 8.3, 8.5, 8.8, 9.0 respectively on IGN). I'm sure Gamespot will flop one or two, but no one really cares about that.

Great score. But what about sales??:?

I can't imagine that a large amount of DS owners are into GTA games.... or any M rated game for that matter.

A large demographic for the DS is the teenage range, which is GTA's main audience, so I'm fairly certain it will sell pretty well.

I also wanted to add that I've been playing the game since saturday (I was able to get it early) and I'm really impressed. Its truly amazing how they were able to make such a complete GTA experience on the DS.
