[QUOTE="SonKev"][QUOTE="hillelslovak"]So your views are different you're trying to say lol? and he isnt afraid to talk about his, and he isnt in deep **** :) I would say being dropped by most of your sponsors and in bad favor with your employers (they publicly condemned his statements) qualifies his situation as deep ****...... So he doesnt follow the cool kid crowd?? oh noes! not everyone is gonna agree with you, its doesnt mean he is gonna settle down his views like the rest of the politicians... im out for real, cyasI would say thought and reason are more powerful than speech. Because Beck wouldn't be in the deep **** he's in right now if he had exercised either before he spoke....

Alright, I can see how this would upset some folks, but I thought that was actually quite insightful. There are often politicians, living and dead, that we get so wrapped up in supporting and so excited about, that we start to attribute almost divine qualities to them. It isn't exclusive to Barack Obama, but a cult of personality certainly has developed around this president. I don't think it's meaningless that lyrics about Obama's greatness have been pasted onto the Battle Hymn of the Republic, a song that was originally very religious in nature. fidosim/signed im out, cya guys
He could be the next Oprah, why not? lolObama is GOD! Or at least many deluded people think so.
He could start a cult and be a billionaire within days.

hmm, so now he does have power... and speech is the most powerful their is so yeah i agree with you :)[QUOTE="SonKev"][QUOTE="hillelslovak"] The only power Glenn Beck has is the power of speech, and he ****s that up on a regular basis with all the dumb crap the spews out of his mouth. And the people that believe the stuff he says have the power to turn off the radio................hillelslovak

It's weird though, considering how Beck looks at himself as a sort of modern-day Thomas Paine. Also, in an earlier segment in that show he was talking about how dangerous Iran is because they are too religious. -Sun_Tzu-Because their government is ran by religious islamic law maybe? and a sect that wants to destroy another nation maybe, publicly? I'm not saying that he's wrong for saying what he did vis-a-vis Iran (although he was factually wrong in some of the things he said about Iran), I'm just saying it's weird to say that on one hand, "Iran+God=Bad", and yet minutes later say that "America+God=Good". Yeah i agree! I just feel there's a difference between a country ran by God (islamic law) and country that trusts in God. (I mean its basically what our country has been doing since its birth and I've never seen any problem with it)

[QUOTE="SonKev"][QUOTE="SickBoy724"]you should watch his show maybe? every thing he "cries" about he has solutions for he also wrote of book full of the problems and their solutions Yeah, if only his "solutions" made any sense at all. I remember when the economic crisis started to get a lot of attention around this time last year. All Beck did was complain, then piggyback the Republican party's moronic solution and claim it was his own. Glenn Beck shouldn't be in charge of anything, not even a crappy radio show. I'm glad he has no real power at all......... btw he does have power his voice is heard every day and yours isntI'm agnostic, and I only support Barrack as my president, not that I voted for him, but because he's our nation's leader. People like Glenn Beck need to either just shut the **** up, or come up with a solution and try make it work.
