Wall Street is good for the consumer in that prices reflect supply and demand most of the time on the market. Also, Wall Street is good in that when Wall Street does good, jobs are created and the economy flows smoothly.

I'll answer the unemployment benefits question since it's something different. I support it being extended for as long as possible. The unemployed are just getting their own money back anyway and with unemployment still around 12-15% an extension is still needed. A lot of folks seem to mistake unemployment for welfare.

I will provide something in argument against this. Even though unemployment benefits are not welfare they are still bad seeing as if you were to get unemployed then you would get benefits for 2 or more years. Also, with the way unemployment is set up lots of employers are simply hiring people on a temporary basis and then letting them go before they hit 6 month mark to qualify for unemployment. And last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST the more people that are on umemployment the less likely they are to complain and take their fight to the streets to get things done.
The more people that are not on unemployment and that can't find a job, the more they are going to complain to the US gov to do more things for this country in creating jobs. It just depends on what side of the fence you are on. If your on unemployment you know what side your on but if you can't get a job that will at least last as long to where you will qualify for unemployment then you know where you are at too.
Then there is the person that is the most lucky in that they have a secure job and they probably want the money the gov spends to be spent else where than on unemployment since all anyone seems to care about any more is themselves.
I ask because I think that both companies put out better rpg games when they were on their own. Companies are saying, that they need more people and more money than ever to produce todays games. My response to that is rpgs need to look good but they don't have to be the best looking game ever made. I think some where along the way Square lost that because you don't need FFXIII to be the best looking game on the console as you need it have a better story or interesting characters.
I don't know how things have gotten to be so much more expensive for a company like Square when they used to always put out good rpgs that often times looked like the best games graphically on a console. I don't know how they lost the ability to keep producing games so often on their own?
Also, I happen to think that Square's games are more than ever geared towards kids and as result of that it ultimately reflects the company's so called "success" up to this point.

One of the most influential owners in sports history for bettor or worse. He was a true New Yorker through and through and while he didn't change his sport like Al Davis or be a civil leader like Arthur Rooney, he never was shy of who he was. I'm not a Yankee fan by the furthest stretch of the imagination, but I feel compelled to respect his profesional work, even if that is as far as my respect goes for him.

I didn't like what he was doing with the Yankees in baseball. He was essentially trying to take the competition out of baseball. Therefore, I have no comment to add as far as his death is concerned. Maybe this will make baseball more balanced?
His death won't have an effect on the balance of baseball. He hasn't actively been running the team since 2006. His sons Hank and Hal have been running it since then and Hank has shown similar traits to his father.Thats just great. I don't think its right for someone to spend way in excess of what the avg person spends on a baseball team to unbalance the competition. Yes, you could spend a lot more than other people but is it the right thing to do when lots of other people watch the sport? Do you really have a right to ruin the competition level by spending way more than other people so you gain a competitive edge at the expense of baseball fans across the US?
Just a prime example of just because someone has a lot of money doesn't mean they are smart.

Lebron may have dropped the ball but he is still in chains
I think in a game of one on one, LBJ takes Kobe. I just don't think Kobe could do anything with Lebron's strength.
Cuban needs to spend some of his money to make the Mavericks better

McGrady. I say McGrady because the knicks just signed a good player and they still have room to sign yet another max player which you can bank on them doing that.
I see the knicks either picking up another big man for the post or getting a guard. Either way it will be someone good like Chris Paul or another good player. With that being said, Mcgrady starts to pick up his game early in the next season and then picks it up even more as the Knicks close in on their next player.

McGrady's not coming back. And the Knicks don't have the cap space for another max anymore. What the hell are you talking about?
I thought McGrady was still with the Knicks after all this trading and I heard spike lee on espn saying that the knicks still have enough room in the cap for another max deal. If McGrady is off the Knicks then I will say O Neal will definitely have the better chance of being a rising star unless of course McGrady is going to play for the Heat or Lakers or Bulls.
