I remember when my roommate had a kinect and we had it connected to my Xbox in the living room. I didn't realize at first that the mic was even on until people online started complaining that they could hear every little annoying noise in the room. This is a mistake Microsoft. QUIT BEING SO GREEDY!
Game companies need to take a stance against Australia until they lessen this absurd gaming censorship crap. Petty moral issues like this have no place in a civilized society. What games CAN you still play in Australia!? Little Big Planet 2?
I see a $100 dollar paperweight. There is nothing to play on it! Mostly android rip offs of other games. Plus if I wanted to play emulators I would just do that on my pc.
Consoles are aimed towards a wider market versus the PC which aims at more of a hardcore/hobbyist type demo. PC gamers are more willing to dish out more money to get the best quality out of each component, console gamers just wanna play now and for cheap! That's why all of this DRM and online business is driving people away from the consoles. It used to be you just popped the game in and started playing. Now you have to make a profile, connect to your wifi/wired internet connection, download updates, make a separate FrAkiN account for Battlefield 3! And so on...
It's becoming quite the commitment to buy and own a game console these days. What am I buying an Xbox or a subscription to AT&T U-VERSE!?!?!?
